Peniscola's vast stretches of sandy beaches, water sports, body boarding, restaurants, bars, shops and beautiful castle on the headland, means there's something for everyone. The lovely harbour on the south beach sees fishing boats unloading their wares each day and there's many tourist attractions within easy reach, including a fantastic water park in Bennicasm, Port Aventura (one of Europe's largest theme parks), the cities of Valencia & Barcelona, the ancient city of Morella, as well as many more. This superb modern villa has the luxury of being on a small impressive development with amenities on site, as well as being tucked nicely away on the coast road, just a mile away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Peniscola. Its possible to walk in and out to the resort and the views of the castle on the walk in are outstanding.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Euros can be accepted and will be converted at the rate prevailing at the time the deposit is taken and then again for the final balance. There are no under-occupancy charges. Price includes all bed linen and cleaning. Towel hire available. Please contact the owner for availability as the calendar is not completed.
Changeover day
Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday generally in high season, but we can be more flexible out of season.

Notes on accommodation
The villa has both air conditioning and central heating, so added to the fact that many of the restaurants used by the locals remain open throughout the winter, and the mild temperatures, this makes Peniscola an all-year round holiday resort.
Please note there is a no smoking in the villa.
Accessibility
Not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
Large gardens surround the villa, with sun beds and a further table/chairs (and barbecue) on the back sun terraces - where you have unlimited views of the mountains. Nice size front garden.
Within a 2 minute walk from the villa you have access to two large swimming pools/sun beds/bar area and also a child's pool. There is also a small outdoor play area for younger children.
Coast/Beach
There's a small beach just next to the harbour known as the South Beach - here the water tends to be very shallow. The north beach, just below the walls of the castle has vast stretches of sandy beaches (approx. 2-3 miles) with all kinds of water sports and activities for children (spider's web, play areas). Both beaches are within a 5 minute drive of the villa or 15 minute walk.
Golf
Golf courses are available nearby (15 minute drive). Details can be provided.
Travel
Valencia and Reus are the closest airports (approx 1 hour drive). Barcelona is the main airport, approx 1 hour 30 minutes - 2 hours).
Distances
You can visit numerous resorts all along the coast of the Costa Azahar - to the north and south of Peniscola as well as numerous tourist attractions. We have a folder at the villa with all the information that we've put together, and our guests have kindly added to it, giving you all the information you will require.
Booking notes
We require a 20% deposit to reserve your holiday. We will send you a confirmation letter with a booking form, asking you to return the booking form with the deposit.
Final payment is due 10 weeks before departure at which time we will send final details, directions, etc.

July 11. What a superb villa and fantastic location. We visited Port Aventura, the water park in Benniscasm and also spent time in the beautiful castle on the tip of the resort. Will definitely be back.

It was great to find a resort with a difference, lots of tapas bars and lovely to holiday in the Spanish way of life. Superb beaches and lots of places to visit. Will be back next year.
