Casa de la Justa is a restored village house in the delightful pueblo of Pinos de Valle in the Lecrin Valley, situated conveniently, midway beween Granada and the Costa Tropical, making a convenient base for exploring the area, with outstanding views of Sierra Nevada and lake Beznar. The house is built around a central courtyard, providing cool from the summer sun.

Notes on prices
Room 2 and 3 available for group bookings, at discounted rate of 80 Euros. 15 euros for extra bed. Children under 2 are free. Breakfast comprises a range of fresh local foods including fruit, cheeses, meat, bread etc. A full cooked breakfast (including vegetarian option) is available at request for a small extra fee.
Changeover day
No minimum stay, flexible arrival times, although rooms may not be ready until 2pm. Departure from rooms by 12.00.
Notes on accommodation
All guest rooms and living rooms have heating, making the accommodation suitable all year round. The house is child friendly, we welcome children of all ages. (A travel cot, high chair and toys are available). A delicious breakfast comprising fresh local produce is included in the cost at a time to be negotiated on arrival. An evening meal, prepared by our highly talented resident chef, can be provided at an extra cost. (from 12 euros for 2 courses) This can be served in the courtyard or dining area depending on the season and your preference. We can also provide delicious packed lunches - perfect for walking or for picnics. Linen and towels changed as required. The whole of Casa de la Justa is available for rent on selected dates, offering very spacious accommodation for 8 people, kitchen, living rooms, dining room, terraces and pool. We have special winter and Christmas offers which include evening meals, e.g 3 nights from 105 Euros per person available from October 2007.
Outside
Plenty of outdoor space for guests use. This includes a large sun terrace on the first floor, with sun loungers and a Morrocan style space for relaxing, direct access from room one. There is also a sheltered coutyard for outdoor dining and relaxing. The swimming pool area comprises of a sheltered spot ideal for relaxing during the hot summer afternoons. The pool is available to guests during the summer months. Although small it makes for refreshing dip in the hot summer months. An honesty bar provides drinks and snacks for guests 24 hours a day.
Coast/Beach
30 minutes by car to the beaches of the Costa Tropical. Salobrena is a good example of an unspoilt Spanish seaside resort, with sandy beach, toilet and shower facilities, with a few bars and restaurants close by. 45 minutes takes you to the larger resorts of Almenecar, Heradurra and Calahonda. Along this coast are several other beaches where there is no development apart from beach side bars, perfect for swimming and away from the crowds! We can advise on location.
Golf
Golf available 25 minutes away in Granada, with the stunning backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, or in Motril, more information on website. Equipment available to hire in both locations.
Skiing
Sierra Nevada ski resort approx 45 minutes by car. This is a well known and popular resort. More details are available on request or on our website. We offer drop off and pick up service for travelers without a car, making a economic alternative to staying at the ski resort.
Travel
40 minutes from Granada airport, now served by two low cost airlines from UK (Monarch and Ryanair), Malaga is about 90 minutes away with a huge range of flights available from low cost airlines and scheduled and chartered flights. Car rental is recommended although we can arrange airport pick up at extra cost. For those not wishinng to hire a car, day trips can be arranged eg. Granada, Alhambra or the coast. There is a bus service from the village to Granada and neighbouring villages.
Distances
Other villages in the Valle de Lecrin are easily accessible by car (10 minutes to Talara, Durcal etc) easy motorway access. Granada is a 25 minutes drive, with many places of interest including the Alhambra Palace. For those traveling without car we can arrange transport to Granada and beyond.
Further details
Local shops in the village will provide all the basics you may need. There are also a choice of bars which serve tapas and meals. In the village there is a bank with a ATM, pharmacy and health center should you require it. Nearby Durcal has many restaurants and bars to chose from, we can point you in the right direction should you want recommendations.
Booking notes
Please contact us to confirm availability and discuss your individual needs. We will then send you a booking form and ask for the first nights stay to be paid for as a deposit. This is payable via paypal or by money transfer to our Spanish or UK bank account. This is non refundable. The remaining balance is payable on arrival by cash or paypal. Sorry we are unable to accept card payments at present.
