The villa sleeps 6 people in 1 large double bedroom with luxury en-suite and two twin bedded rooms sharing a family bathroom. There is an additional wc downstairs. There is a terraced area off the upstairs hallway which catches the afternoon and evening sun. Downstairs is a fully fitted luxury kitchen, including a microwave and dishwasher and a utility room with a washing machine. The spacious living areas are open plan and furnished to a high standard for your comfort. Two sets of patio doors lead from the living area to an outdoor terrace. The landscaped gardens extending round the villa are fully enclosed, with a kidney shaped swimming pool, sun terrace and lawn.

Changeover day is Wednesday. This is flexible other than during the peak season and is dependent on existing bookings.

Outside
The landscaped gardens extending round the villa are fully enclosed, with a kidney shaped swimming pool, sun terrace and lawn. There are outdoor patio furniture and sunloungers for your use and a portable barbecue for those evenings in.
Coast/Beach
The golden sands of Sant Antoni beach are only a short drive from the villa, also the bustling fishing harbour of Palamos and cosmopolitan Platja D'Aro. For smaller, more tranquil beaches, try the beautiful coves of Tamariu, Llafranc and Calella which are only 15 minutes drive.
Golf
The Costa Brava has thirteen 18 hole golf courses in total, 8 of which are within easy reach of the villa. The fees are also very reasonable when compared to other Spanish and Portuguese courses. Please bear in mind that most of the courses have a dress code and a required handicap and many will insist on see the handicap certificate before teeing off.
Travel
The nearest airports are Girona (40 minutes) and Barcelona (90 minutes). Both airports are serviced by low-cost airlines. For your convenience, we have scheduled our changeover days to coincide with the cheapest midweek flights. Car hire is recommended to ensure that you can make the most of your holiday.
Distances
The villa is situated in a quiet residential area, just 1km from the centre of the historic town of Calonge. There is a supermarket nearby, many local restaurants which are family friendly and a weekly market. Enjoy a day in Barcelona - maybe shopping, or visiting the Gaudi sights with the breathtaking La Sagrada Familia church - about 1 hour by train from Flaca station. Or take a trip into charming Girona, situated on the river, with its cathedral and old quarter - less than an hour's drive.
Further details
The region is generally more sophisticated than the busier resorts of the other 'Costas' with a slower pace of life and beautiful countryside. We feel the Costa Brava has it all - vast sandy beaches, small rugged coves, medieval villages, art and culture, history, watersports, golf, extreme activities etc. Along with plenty of sunshine, it has everything to offer for a fantastic holiday, whatever your interests.
Booking notes
Price is for the villa per week and is based on a maximum occupancy of 6 people. A 20% non-refundable deposit to be paid on booking. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks before departure. There is a refundable security deposit of £250 payable with the final balance. This deposit will be returned to you within 14 days of your return, minus any breakages. Payment is accepted by Sterling cheque, Euro or Sterling bank transfer.
