Notes on accommodation
The first floor is accessed via a sweeping circular staircase, which leads to the master bedroom and upper terrace. The terrace is an ideal place to enjoy a drink on the comfortable sofa chairs, whilst watching the sun set over the mountains. The villa is ideal for children and elderly alike, with its level plot, grassed areas and lockable access gate.
Accessibility
This is a level plot with ground floor bedrooms, and is suitable for people with reduced mobility, particularly the elderly. All essential facilities are available on the ground floor and, other than one small step, the pool, barbeque, garden and driveway etc are on a flat plot.
Outside
The parking area has a covered pergola to act as a sun-screen and the sliding iron gate can be locked to keep children from straying onto the road. The garden has been beautifully landscaped and grassed around the private kidney shaped pool, which is illuminated in the evening. The grassed area compliments the terrace and there is coloured lighting around the trees. There is also an outside shower. The covered naya is perfect to sit and enjoy "al fresco" dining from the Spanish style purpose built BBQ. The garden has many aromatic plants and screening plants around the permiter to maximise privacy. The upper terrace has a comfortable cane suite to enjoy breakfast or evening drinks in complete privacy.
Coast/Beach
The villa is approximately 600 metres from the small beach of Els Poblets, with beach bars. Denia's long, sandy, uncrowded beaches are also within driving distance (approx 5 minutes). Here you will find beachside restaurants, volley ball and all kind of water sports. You can also buy the fresh catch of the day on the quayside in Denia from the local fishermen. Denia also has a beautiful brand new Marina where you can sit and enjoy a meal or a drink.
Golf
There are numerous golf courses within easy travelling distance. For example, La Sella (18 holes), which is surrounded by Mediterranean forests and mountains. This course has been designed with golfers of all abilities in mind and winds its way through an array of orange groves. A little more difficult than first impressions suggest.
Travel
The villa is halfway between the airports of Alicante and Valencia, each one being approximately 1 hour's drive away.
Distances
This luxury villa is located just outside the Spanish town of Els Poblets, which is about 7 minutes drive from the cosmopolitan coastal resort of Denia. The town of Javea is approx 20 minutes drive and Benidorm is approx 30 minutes drive. The beautiful Orba valley is a short drive away with its aromatic orange groves, local restaurants and wine tasting.
Further details
There are a number of restaurants within walking distance on the urbanisation and in the village of Els Poblets itself. There is a small supermarket and a smattering of shops on the urbanisation, with larger shops and supermarkets available in Els Poblets and Denia. Denia has a number of banks, pavement cafes and restaurants, tree lined boulevards and a historic castle.
