This is a fantastic family villa built to a high specification. It is ideal for large families or friends traveling together. There are facilities for children and a games room for all ages. There is a spacious lounge/diner. It has a TV with English and Spanish channels along with a video with tapes for adults and children, a DVD player and 5 CD stereo system with CDs. The lounge is large with leather seating. The dining table is glass and seats 6 easily. This area is decorated to a high standard. Air conditioning available. The kitchen has everything any modern kitchen needs. All the crockery/utensils that most people use are provided. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker, electric cooker and grill and microwave. The property has a separate utility area and drying area.

Changeover day
Changeover days in the summer are Saturdays. The rest of the year is flexible.

The villa will be cleaned before you arrive and fresh linen left for your stay. If you require another clean or more fresh linen this can be arranged at an extra charged locally. |
Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning is available at extra charge of £60 per week. There are units in the lounge and two of the bedrooms. The air conditioning units are also heaters.
There is a children's play pit in the garden. It has a double swing, slide, playhouse with toys.
There is a games room with pool, darts, table soccer, board games and its own bar.
There is a £250 breakage deposit which is returnable.
Accessibility
The property has good wheelchair access, but there are steps into the main entrance, games room and from the conservatory to the patio to negotiate. The rest is all on one level
Car hire recommended to make the most of your stay and your own convenience.
Outside
This lovely villa is built to a good specification and all on one level. There are some steps on the porches to enter the villa and the games room. There are fantastic views of the surrounding mountains all around the villa which sits high on a hill overlooking the town of Monovar. The villa is set on an 8000 sq.m. plot, the rear garden is over 100 yards long. There is a 500 sq.m. tiled patio area, which is totally secluded with an 8 foot fence and very private, electric gates. There is an oval shaped private pool and kids play pool which can also be used as a children's playpool. There is a 12 foot pergola next to a large barbecue. There is a children's play area with double swing, slide and playhouse, toys are also provided. This is a fantastic location for chilling out. The whole patio area lights up at night so you can use it anytime. There are 22 palm trees, fir trees and fruit trees (help yourself) at the right time of the year.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Santa Pola. It takes approximately 35-30 minutes to drive there. There are several other beaches around the area. These are some of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca.
Golf
The nearest golf course is Allenda, a 15 minute drive. There are five other courses around the areas with varying levels of difficulties.
Special interest holidays
This villa is iddeal for walking, climbing, cycling and exploring the surrounding areas ans superb scenery. There are several vineyards and bodegas in the area.
Travel
The nearest airport is Alicante. It takes 30 minutes to drive from the airport to the villa. Other accessible airports are Murcia (1 hour), Valencia (2 hours) and Madrid (4 hours) is Barcelona (3 hours).
Distances
The nearest town and supermarket are 3/4 of a mile. There are other towns to visit in the area. We recommend you hire a car(s) to make the most of the surroundings. The area is steeped in history (Moors and Christians) and superb for visiting vineyards. Mountain climbing is on the doorstep.
Further details
Monovar has all the facilities you would need e.g. shopping, banking and restaurants. The restaurants are very Spanish, this area is not spoilt by tourism, albeit tourist areas are within easy reach.
We have a lot of guests that prefer walking, wine tasting and climbing.
The area is very Spanish and not spoilt by tourism. Not many of the local Spanish people speak English, so if you know a bit of the language it will help, if not they are good at sign language! They are very welcoming and will help you all they can. The area is steeped in history on "The Moors & Christians era" that backdates to the 14th century. There are some fantasic monuments and churches. Vineyards for miles and local Bodegas to taste the local wine, which I might add is very drinkable in large quantities. The surrounding mountains are beautiful to look at and climb for the more energetic. Cycling is a favorite sport around the area. There are restaurants in the local towns, which are mainly Spanish, but there are some Chinese restaurants around. The villa is centrally located to visit all the big attractions on the Costa Blanca. Benidorm is 45 minutes by car, Javea, Denia at one hour. To the south is Murcia at one hour. Costa Del Sol is about 4-5 hours to Granada and Malaga.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required within 7 days of booking, assuming the booking form is acceptable to the owners.
The balance is due within 8 weeks of travel.
A breakage depost of £250 is made and returned less any breakages. Allowances are made for small items.
Booking is subject to all those travelling carrying their own personal and accident insurances.
