The Casa Jovez is spacious (260 squared meters) distributed on 3 levels. The ground floor includes a large entrance opening on the kitchen and living-room, a bedroom, a bathroom and the garage. The first floor includes the master bedroom with its private bathroom, two other bedrooms, another bathroom and an office. The top floor is formed of a large sitting-room and of a terrace/solarium providing a panoramic view on the village and the surrounding mountains. The beaches of the Costa Tropical (Salobreña, Motril, Almuñecar, La Herradura, Nerja) are 30-45 minutes drive away.

The Granada Club de Golf in Armilla is 15 minutes drive away. In 2007 a new club will open : the Santa Clara Golf at only 10 minutes drive away.
Skiing
Sierra Nevada is the highest ski resort in Spain (10 peaks at more than 3000m) but one of the highest resort in Europe as well. It is also the most sunny and quiet one. It’s often possible to have a spectacular view, from the tracks, to Morocco and its Atlas mountains. The ski season starts from December and lasts until the end of March.

Trekking
From Acequias there is a direct access to the GR7 linking the cities of Granada and Almería through the Sierra Nevada and the Alpujarras with panoramic views upon the Lecrin valley, the Costa Tropical, the Mediterranean Sea. The portion of the GR7 from Acequias to Lanjaron (entry gate to the Alpujarras) takes 3 hours and 30 minutes walking.
Balneario de Lanjaron
10 minutes drive from Acequias (by car!) to reach the balneario de Lanjaron, well known through the curative powers of its spa water and the five mineral and medical water sources: Capuchina, San Vicente, Capilla, El Salado and Salud. The Lanjaron hydrothermal centre provides Spa treatments, Massages, Thermal beauty treatments, Parafangos, Physiotherapy.
Travel
Granada Airport is less than 30 minutes drive from the new road of La Malaha. Malaga airport is 1h 30 minutes drive away.
Distances
The famous Alhambra palace is 20 minutes drive away.
Las Alpujarras 15 minutes drive away.

A 25% deposit is required to confirm the booking and the final balance will be due 4 weeks prior to arrival. Payments will be made by money transfer on the owners account “Caja Rural de Granada”.
