4 storey duplex ideal for holidays and longer stays on the Costa Blanca. The lower floor contains the large garage. A stairwell leads to the kitchen and lounge area. The lounge is well furnished with TV, DVD, radio/CD player, books and some games. There are two double sofa beds in the lounge plus off the lounge there is a balcony, with table and chairs overlooking fields and hills. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. There is also a toilet and shower on this floor. The next floor contains 2 twin bedrooms and main bathroom. On the roof there is a solarium for all day sunbathing. The pool is communal and within walking distance there is a restaurant, small shop and cafe/bar. Guardamar, a typical Spanish town, has many restaurants, bars and supermarkets, all within a short drive or 20 minute walk. The beautiful beach of Guardamar is only a 5 minute drive and has 7.5km of white sand with a back drop of sand dunes and pine trees.

Living Rooms: Living/Dining room contains dining table for 6 people dresser for storage, TV, DVD, radio/CD player, 2 double sofa beds, various DVDs, books and games. Balcony off through double doors.
Other: Roof solarium with sun loungers, chairs and clothes drying hanger. Integral garage with electric door offers ideal spot to keep the sun off the car.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen is provided, property is cleaned and linen changed on handover/takeover. Extra linen is provided for stays of over 1 week. Please supply your own domestic and beach towels.

 

Notes on accommodation
The duplex contains an electronic lock operated safe. The pool is only 3 doors away although it is communal. This means that kids can usually find play mates during their stay. We use the rear terrace for breakfasts when ever we are there as it catches the morning sun.

Coast/Beach
The town of Guardamar, with a population of just over 11,000, has historically played the role of guardian of the river Segura. Around 12km of beach; pines; very old trees, a Mediterranean park with fountains and lakes that give life to squirrels, swans, fishes. Guardamar del Segura has extensive sports facilities, the most important being the ‘Las Rabosas’ Sports centre and the magnificent municipal sports centre, with its Olympic pool, 3 football pitches, basketball courts, 5-a-side.

Golf
There are several golf courses within a 20 min drive to the duplex with the nearest being 4 mins away. The area offers some excellent golf courses, with a climate to make the perfect golfing trip. Whether just wanting to grab a quick round or play all week long this area everything to suit your needs. Please remember that the property has a secure integral garage ideal for the safe and easy storage of golf equipment.

Travel
25 mins to Alicante Airport by car or taxi. We recommend a car although not essential. A car gives you access to a much wider arrangement of places to visit. The town centre is a 20 min walk or 5 min drive away. There is a bus circular route around the town with the bus stop being to the rear of the duplex.

Distances
Elche, Elx as it's know in Valencian, is well-known for its palm grove, the largest in Europe. And yes, it's true, an ocean of palm trees does await you. To date, there are more than 200,000 of the trees over a surface of 430 hectares. This historic town is less than 30 mins drive away. Terra Mitica, Spain's answer to Alton Towers. This is about 1 - 1.5 hours drive but well worth it if you have kids (or love the coasters).
