Spacious, well equipped 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom first floor apartment with lift, modern kitchen with dishwasher, inbuilt microwave etc, bathroom suite with a Jacuzzi bath, separate laundry area with washing machine and modern furniture with good mattresses, marble floors. DVD, stereo, Satellite TV. Dining table and chairs inside and outside, sliding patio doors lead from the lounge area, and two of the bedrooms, onto the large private walled balcony with furniture and a gas BBQ. Situated in a good location of Fuengirola, 10-15 mins walk to the Castle and Myramar shopping and cinema complex. Plenty of supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, banks closer by. The complex has a large swimming pool and children’s pool in well kept gardens and on site lifeguard plus private tennis courts, private parking and children’s play area. No need for a car!

Changeover day
You will be greeted upon arrival and will have a point of contact during your stay. Check in time is 16:00 hours and check out time is 10:30 hours although we are flexible where ever possible. We are also flexible on the changeover day.

Notes on accommodation
More photos can be provided upon request. There is a (UK) iPod player that you can put your iPod in to listen to music as well as the portable stereo. There is private parking to the rear of the apartment block plus parking to the front and side of the apartment block. Please note that the single bedroom with the pull out bed underneath will restrict the space in the bedroom so please bear in mind for adults/children sharing. Please remember to bring your UK Sky Card. There is a hairdryer and a gas heater, electric heater and electric radiator for the winter months. Ceiling fans/stand alone fans in every room.
Accessibility
The apartment is all on one level. On entering the apartment block there is a ramp designed for wheelchair access but it is steep and has a step at the end of it. There is a lift.
Outside
The terrace has a large dining table and chairs with cushions. There is a gas BBQ on the terrace and a security entrance (intercom system) to access the apartment block.
The apartment does not overlook the communal pool area which is open from 15 June - 15 September although it does sometimes open earlier and close later. It is manned by an official lifeguard - please check opening times as they vary from year to year. There are toilet and shower facilities but no sun loungers just umbrellas.
The tennis court is to the rear of the apartment block open all year round. It is surrounded by well maintained community gardens.
Private parking is available and there is a special "zapper" to open the gates. There is also off the road parking as well just in front and to the left of the apartment block.
Coast/Beach
The walk to the sandy beach is less than 5 minutes. There is a promendade that stretches all the way along the coastline to the Port and beyond, approx 8 kms. The Port is approximately 15 mins walk along the promenade. There are restaurants on the beach front and on the opposite side of the road it is lined with bars, restaurants and shops. Fuengirola sea front is a favourite place for tourists and local families alike.
Golf
There are plenty of golf courses close to Fuengirola approx 15 mins drive away are: Club Miraflores Golf Club, Km 199, Mijas Costa. Club la Siesta, Sitio de Calahonda, Mijas Costa. Mijas Golf Club, Mijas Costa. La Cala Golf & Country Club, La Cala de Mijas, Mijas Costa. Within 30 minutes drive are the international golf courses of Marbella Golf, known as Los Monteros, Santa Clara and Rio Real.
Skiing
Within 2-3 hours drive is the highest peak of the Iberian Peninsula, the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, which is known to be one of the best in Europe.
Travel
Car hire is not necessary as all amenties are easily accessible and public transport is really good and cheap. The nearest airport is Malaga, 35 minutes drive and we can pre-book a licensed taxi on your behalf. The train from Malaga airport goes to Fuengirola. There is also a bus station in Fuengirola where you can go to Marbella, Puerto Banus and any of the other neighbouring resorts.
Distances
The historic Solhail Castle is 10 mins walk. The Aqua Park and the biggest zoo on the Costa del Sol is only a 10 minute walk from the apartment just before the bullring open from March to October. The neighbouring resort of Mijas Costa has a race course. Marbella is 30 km west of Fuengirola with Puerto Banus just beyond. Mijas Pueblo is 15 mins drive. Tivoli Amusement Park at nearby Arroyo de la Miel, a Sealife centre in Benalmadena.
Further details
There is a shopping centre approx 10 mins walk from the apartment that has a large hypermarket (Eroski) as well as plenty of other shops. It also has a cinema that shows English films. The nearest supermarket is within a 5 minute walk and has a wide selection of UK products. The nearest bank is approx 5 mins walk from the apartment.
Booking notes
Booking deposit of 30% required and damage deposit of £100. If arriving within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period then payment in full is required. A welcome pack can be provided upon arrival especially if you are arriving late or on a Sunday.
