The apartment is within the grounds of the owner’s villa, it is separate with it's own private entrance. Both villa and apartment are surrounded on 3 sides by vineyards, with views of the mountains and sea. The quaint village of Benitachell with its traditional Spanish domed church, floodlit at night, is within 10 minutes walking distance and there are numerous bars and restaurants. The property is not overlooked and is set at the end of a private road, with off-road parking. The apartment is well equipped and has fans for the summer and is heated in the winter. The apartment is situated adjacent to our very private swimming pool (approximately 8 x 4m), featuring a shallow paddling area, underwater lighting and pool shower. The pool facilities are shared only with the owners. Sun-loungers and BBQ provided. Sit on your own terrace and enjoy a sunshine breakfast taking in the sea and mountain views and watch the sunset with a glass of wine and dine al fresco.

Kitchen: Kitchen with gas hob, combination microwave oven, extractor fan and fridge. Plenty of good quality china, glassware and cooking utensils.
Utility Room: Drying rack, ironing board and steam iron.
Living Rooms: Large comfortable sofa, table and chairs, DVD and CD player and the view!

Towels and linen changed weekly. Property cleaned and prepared for your arrival and cleaned weekly. A welcome pack of basic necessities (and more!) is included in the accommodation price.

Coast/Beach
The resorts of Javea and Moraira are 10 mins by car both of which have great sandy beaches and water sports facilities.

Golf
There are 3 golf courses within a short distance of the villa. Javea (9 holes) 2km. La Sella (18 holes) 6km. Club de golf Ifach (9 holes) 6km. The owner is a golfer and can advise you on the merits of the various clubs.

Travel
Alicante and Valencia airports are a 1 hour drive away. A car is essential to enjoy the area.

Distances
Benitachell approx 1 km, 10 mins walk. Javea and Moraira approx 7km. Calpe is approx 15km drive. Benidorm and Terra Mitica theme park approx 40km, 30 mins drive.

Further details
Moraira and Javea offer many beaches, restaurants and bars. Weekly markets are a must, with a wide variety of pottery, clothes, fresh fruit and vegetables. There is much to see and do in the area. Fiestas are exciting and held regularly in most towns and villages. Visit the beautiful Jalon valley, renowned for its walks amidst orange groves and almond trees and the extensive vineyards which produce the famous Moscatel wine. At nearby Benidorm there is Aqualandia water Park, Mundamar Marine Park and Terra Mitica theme park all within easy reach, 30 mins drive.

About the owner
Ian and Jan Botterell. Ian is from London and Jan from Yorkshire. We live at Casa Gracia permanently. We can both speak passable Spanish (mainly restaurant and shopping Spanish!) but we are learning all the time. Ian works full time in Javea and Jan does a little admin for him two days a week. We have 2 twin tabby cats. They play in the grounds and vineyards and love the apartment garden as there are many birds flying by. We regularly receive 'presents' from them courtesy of the surrounding vineyards- voles, crickets, lizards and gekkos!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought Casa Gracia because of the maxim, location, location, location. It is in an unspoiled area, totally private surrounded by vineyards on all sides and with views of the sea and the mountains.

Unique benefits of the property
Casa Gracia is quiet and very peaceful, with only the sounds of the cicadas at night. However it is also only a short walk up the hill to the village. The village of Benitachell is truly Spanish. There are many bars and restaurants plus a small supermarket and a large one on the edge of the village. There is an indoor market everyday and an outdoor market on Wednesday mornings. You can buy the freshest fruit and vegetables, some of which are enormous in size but all taste so fresh and delicious. The apartment is totally separate from the main villa where we live. You have your own entrance and your own large terrace and garden for complete privacy.
