Coast/Beach
The area is flat with considerable provision made for cyclists.
The Mar Menor is a large salt water sea separated from the Med. by a small strip of land. Its waters are relatively shallow and consequently warm and suitable for water sports. Its beaches are sandy and ideal for children.
Golf
The international top class golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas are easily reached by car.
Special interest holidays
San Pedro is famous for its open air sea mud and clay bathing with reputed theraputic properties.
Travel
There are 2 nearby airports, both served by low-cost airlines and both within easy motorway travel of the house. Murcia (San Javier) 10 minutes and Alicante 50 minutes.
Car hire is not essential as a car pick-up can be arranged for a fee but it is a good idea to enable exploration of the area with its many beaches.

Within easy motorway travel of Torrevieja (20 mins), Murcia town (50 mins) and Cartegena (30 mins).

The World Health Organisation has classed the area as the healthiest in which to live in Europe with 320 days of sunshine per year.
Booking notes
An initial non- returnable deposit of £75 is required on booking with the balance 6 weeks before the arrival date. A returnable £75 lost keys/damage payment is also required with the final payment and will be repayed on departure if all is satisfactory.
