Prices are for the property per week in euros. Bookings of under 7 days are calculated on a daily rate (weekly rate divided by 7 and multiplied by the number of days). Minimum rental 3 days. We charge a supplement of 30 pounds on bookings of under 7 nights.

Changeover day
Arrivals between 1 - 6pm or by prior arrangement for late flights. Departures by 10am. We will try to accommodate a later departure but this is dependent upon incoming clients. No fixed changeover day.

Bathrooms: Bathroom with bath/shower, toilet, bidet, washbasin set in marble vanity top and mirror.
Kitchen: Oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave. All new kitchen equipment, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, china, glasswear, cutlery. Large selection of cookwear.
Living Rooms: Fabulous sunny lounge with glass wall opening onto flower filled terrace and stone built Andalucian BBQ. Large sofa and chair, TV, DVD, CD, coffee table, ceiling fan, oil filled radiator, reading standard lamp, book case with complimentary books/mags.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All towels and linen included. Penthouse cleaned after each let. Linen changed weekly on longer lets.

 

Notes on accommodation
Heating by oil filled portable radiators during winter. The processional route from Cadiz Cathedral passes along the street to the front of this property and gives fabulous ariel views of the annual processions - ideal for Easter week or Christmas. For those with mobility problems we would recommend our Merchant House property on the Owners Direct site reference S4028 as it is on the first floor.

Outside
Stunning rooftop patio (500 sq.ft.) accessed via glass wall from lounge - with dining table and chairs, extendible sun canopes, sun loungers, stone built Andalucian barbecue, plants, flowers etc. Floodlighting for evening barbecues or sundown drinks. Skyline views of old Cadiz including Cathedral and Townhall belltower. Very private and ideal for sunbathing all year round. Also a perfect spot for painters or writers to find some inspiration.

Coast/Beach
Sea and promenade 3 minutes walk and the famous white sand beaches of Cadiz 8 mins walk. Beautiful beaches of Rota, Sanlucar and Chipiona 30 to 40 mins. Famous La Barossa Beach in Chiclana 20 mins and Europes Windsurfing Capital - Tarifa only 1 hr by car. There is also the Doņana National Park beaches accessible from Sanlucar by a short ferry crossing or by road from Huelva Province. Visit Sanlucar in August to see the horse racing on the beach.

Golf
Ideally located for Montecastillo Golf and Country Park (home of the Volvo Masters) 25 minutes by car. Sanlucar Golf Course 30 mins, Sherry Park Golf Jerez (20 minutes). Novo Sancti Petri Course (27 holes designed by Sevi Ballasteros) 35 mins. San Andreas Golf 35 mins and Montenmedia Golf, Country and Horseriding Park 45 mins. Valderama Golf Course home of the Spanish Open 1hr 15mins and Benalup Golf Course 30 mins.

Skiing
Skiing at Granada 2hrs 30 mins. Access by car or train.

Jerez airport 25 mins. Seville 1hr. Gibraltar 1 hr 15 mins. Malaga 2 hrs 30 mins. Faro (Portugal) 3 hrs.

Large selection of shops, supermarkets and banks on doorstep of penthouse. Amazing aray of bars and restaurants, everything from beach bars to world class seafood restaurants abound in Cadiz. Our nearest restaurant is one of Cadizīs newest and most talked about restaurants - only 10 yds from our door. Cadiz is reckoned by the Spanish to be the most exciting city in Spain and to hold the best fiestas in Spain of which there are many! Come in February for the Carnival a colourful spectacled held in the La Viņa are of the City only 10 minutes walk. If you want to go a little further there are many other activities including a day trip by boat from Cadiz to Seville with lunch on board. The famous Royal Riding School of Jerez (visits and exhibitions daily). The famous sherry and wine houses of Jerez (visits and tastings daily). The renknowned Flamenco clubs of Cadiz and Jerez (exhibitions and dinner daily). Birdwatching, trecking and walking in the Grazelema Mountains 40 mins. Explore the Doņana National Park 1hr. View the white washed villages of Andalucia (there are 3 within 30 mins). Vast selection of watersports including kite surfing, wind surfing, canoeing, jet skiing and diving (lessons also available). Horseriding and trecking, including lovely sunset rides along the beach. Waterparks in Jerez and Seville. Whale and dolphin watch from Tarifa, the options are endless.

Bookings by email or phone. 20% deposit of total let fee with booking by bank transfer or cheque. Balance payable 1 month prior to start of let by bank transfer. If you wish to pay by cheque for the final payment the cheque must arrive 8 weeks prior to entry date as they take 6 weeks to clear.

This is our third self catering holiday and the first two were good but this one was way beyond expectation. Your property was immaculate and we were very taken with the garden on the roof. Thank you for everything.

My wife and I have visited many cities in Spain and places in the south west of Spain but Cadiz has really captured our hearts. The people are charming, the city is one of the most intersting places we have visited and basically we thank you for making our trip possible.

Loved the penthouse - amazing location. Never walked more than 5 minutes to find a new tapas bar or restaurant to eat in that we had not already visited. We cant believe the selection of good eateries and the fish and seafood was fabulous. The wine wasnt bad either!

Fabulous penthouse and stunning terrace. Spent 4 days in Cadiz doing all the sites - incredible, and transport was fantastic. We went to Morocco on Tuesday, Gibraltar on Wednesday and Seville on Thursday! Fabulous trip - thank you.
