Our new luxury detached villa is in Rasomar, near Guardamar. It is furnished to a very high standard and is very comfortable and has the benefit of air conditioning. There is a gated communal pool which is for residents only and childrens play area nearby. The roof terrace of the villa has views of the salt lake and orange/lemon groves. There is a local supermarket, bank, bars and restaurants within walking distance and the town of Cuidad Quesada is 10 minutes away by car which has a good selection of bars, restaurants, shops and medical facilities. The blue flag beaches of Guardamar are just 5 minutes away by car where you will find a nature park and childrens play area. There are five excellent golf courses within a 15 minute drive of the villa. The location was chosen for its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere ideal for walking. The livelier resort of Torrevieja with is lovely promenade, shops, marina, bars, nightlife and a waterpark is some 15 minutes by car via the N.332 coas

Changeover day
The usual hand over day is Saturday but weekend breaks (ie. Friday to Monday) can be arranged.

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bed linen and towels are provided (including beach towels) which are changed weekly. The villa is cleaned by our caretaker and there is an additional charge of 60 euros for this service. |
Notes on accommodation
The property has heating/air conditioning and is suitable for young and old alike. The communal pool is gated and for residents only and a key is provided for your use. There is also an attached childrens' pool.

Outside
The roof terrace commanding views of salt lake and orange/lemon groves attracts the sun from sunrise to sunset. Patio table and four chairs, parasol and two comfortable sun loungers. There is also a retractable washing line on the roof terrace. There is also a large paved area and garden at the front of the house where a leisurely cocktail can be taken.
Coast/Beach
The quiet blue flag beaches of Guardamar are 5 minutes drive away. They are said to be the best beaches of the Costa Blanca and extend for 7 kms. The beaches of Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig and Campoamar are 15 minutes drive from the villa along the N332 coast road.
Golf
The golf complexes of Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamar, La Finca and Quesada are within 15 minutes drive.
Travel
The villa is only 20-30 minutes from Alicante airport. Taking the N332 coast road from the airport, heading south for Cartagena and Torrevieja, after approximately 30 minutes driving turn right into the Orange Grove Road signposted to Montesinos. One km down the road there is a roundabout where you turn left into the urbanisation of Rasomar.
A car is recommended but if you do not wish to hire a car then we can arrange collection from the airport.
Distances
Guardamar with its shops, restaurants lovely beach and promenade is 2 kms. Santa Pola, a fishing village with local fish being brought onto the quay daily, is 4 kms. Cuidad Quesada with bars, restaurants, shops and banks is 3 kms away and the lively resort of Torrevieja is some 5kms from the villa.
Further details
There is a supermarket, bank bars and restaurants within walking distance of the villa and a selection of further shops, bars, restaurants and banks locally. The nearby Hotel Laguna has a luxury spa for those wishing to pamper themselves and golf can be arranged from there if you wish.
Booking notes
Bookings can be made by phone or e-mail. A deposit of £100 is payable on booking and the balance due four weeks before departure. A refundable deposit of £200 for breakages is also payable on booking which will be refunded on your return.
Please note that an additional 60 euros is payable directly to the caretaker at the time of handing in the key on vacating the villa for the cleaning and washing of towels.
