Offering peace and tranquility, but close to all amenities, means our guests can experience the best of both worlds. Boasting miles of unspoiled golden sandy beaches, backed by green pines. Countryside abounding in strawberry plantations, fig trees and orange groves. Whales and dolphins play offshore. With more than 3000 hours of sunshine a year, the beautiful Costa de la luz has long been Spain’s best kept secret. Pretty fishing villages mixed with the history and traditionalism of Spanish towns are contrasted with a newly built marina 'El Faro' offering chic modern boutiques and bars, offering a variety to suit most peoples requirements, all within 30 minutes drive away.

| Bathrooms: | Main bathroom has a shower, WC and wash basin. En-suite has bath with shower over, WC and bidet. Downstairs WC and washbasin. |
| Kitchen: | This fully fitted kitchen is larger than the majority of like townhouses, displaying a decor that is bright and vibrant!Oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and wide selection of crockery, and cutlery. |
| Utility Room: | Outdoor utility useful for housing cleaning implements. |
| Living Rooms: | Spacious lounge/diner. The light oak furniture is complimented by two x 2 seater brown leather settees. Satellite TV, DVD, HiFi and a selection of books, games, DVDs and CDs. Dresser together with large dining table comfortably seating 6 persons. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included in our charges. The property is cleaned for arrival. Mid-stay clean for fortnightly hols. Any subsequent cleans/changes in towels/linen can be requested but will be payable locally. |
Notes on accommodation
Full air conditioning and heating. Additional charge will be made if this facility is desired. The townhouse offers a generous amount of storage space.
Outside
Our house overlooks a spacious, well manicured garden and swimming pool area. Offering both adult and children's pools. The pools are not open all year round. Downstairs terrace with large patio table and chairs and parasol seats 6 persons, gas BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining! 2 clothes airers and pegs. We have underground parking for 2 cars.
Coast/Beach
Forget the overpriced hire of sunbeds lined up strategically along foreign beaches.....you are now in the Costa De La Luz! A 10 minute stroll will take you to the coast. Golden sand extends along the pretty sea shore. Pines and sand-dunes create a backdrop and wooded beach bars are dotted discretely at intervals. All the beaches are well maintained and offer showers. A Taxi boat will take you across to a peninsular which extends from El Rompido, when the mainland scenery can be admired.
Golf
Nuevo Portil golf course is quite an unforgiving course. Delightful surroundings, amongst green pines. Close to the coast. There is a selection of 4 other golf courses all within a 40 min drive.
Travel
Faro 1 hr 15 mins, Seville 1 hour 30 mins.
Distances
El Portil neighbours Nuevo Portil Golf Course and offers a small selection of shops, bars, restaurants within a few mins walk. There is a wider selection into the centre of El Portil village, a short car journey away (4/5 mins). El Rompido (3km away) is a delightful fishing village, where beachside tapas bars overlook the fishermen bringing in their catch of the day. Huelva, Cartaya & Ayamonte offer so much more by way of choice, & are delightful traditional pretty towns, within 30 mins drive.
Further details
There are banks, 2 chemists, a patisserie and ironmongers all within a few mins walk. The large hypermarket Carrefour is a 15 min drive away, but there are many mini/supermarkets within the area. A wide variety of bars and restaurants within this region, offering in the main traditional Spanish cuisine and seafood, but Italian and English food is served locally. Nuevo Portil and El Rompido are a sportsman’s paradise offering golf, tennis, wind surfing, kayaking, kiting, catamarans, canoeing, mini golf, volleyball, quad biking, cycling, walking, horse riding and football. There are some superb villages and towns to visit locally. Places and trips of interest include the City of Seville, Huelva and Ayamonte. Other experiences include the Rio Tinto Mines, Aracena Cavern, Donana National Park, the Guadiana River and Jeep Safari, Flamenco dancing, boat trips and much much more!

Booking notes
A deposit is required of £150 per week. Full payment to be made 8 weeks prior to departure.
If our own townhouse is booked on the dates you require, we do have friends who also rent out their alike property, that we can contact for availability.
