Casa Lee is set on the hillside with far reaching views over the tranquil fertile valley of Jalón with its vineyards, olive and almond groves. It is a new detached villa with its own pool and all modern conveniences on the urbanisation of Valle del Paraiso. The small town of Jalón, which has good shops, banks, restaurants and bars, is only a comfortable kilometre walk away and yet beautiful sandy beaches are within easy reach. A short car drive away lies Calpe with its famous Penon de Ifach rock formation and long sandy Levante beach. Moraira, Javea, Denia and other beach resorts are also only 25 or 30 minutes away. The town of Jalón (sometimes spelt Xaló locally) is situated in the flat-bottomed Vall del Pop bordered by small mountain ranges. The valley extends for many kilometres and is good for walking, cycling and exploring the local villages. For the energetic the slopes provide opportunities for hill walking and fabulous views.

Notes on accommodation
Level (two steps) path from cul-de-sac road to porch with main door leading into villa. Off-road car parking. Terraces with steps to pool and gardens mean small children should be supervised.
Outside
8m x 4m pool with Roman steps and ladder. 6 sun loungers, table and chairs. Garden with pergola.
Coast/Beach
The villa is well positioned to visit different beaches every day with local blue flag beaches of Denia, Moraira, Calpe all within a 20 minute car drive. A bus service runs to Denia from Jalon (outside the tourist office) and a local railway, which runs down the coastline to Alicante is available from nearby Benissa.
Golf
There are four main golf clubs in the area, the nearest being Club de Golf Ifach near Calpe. Our caretaker will provide details of a local (British) club, which uses a local course giving the opportunity of playing with other holiday makers as well as local residents.
Travel
Airports of Valencia and Alicante are both motorway drives of about one hour. A car is essential although the local town of Jalon is less than 1km away and has all facilities.
Distances
Jalon is less than 1km away and has shops, bars, internet cafe and many restaurants.
Calpe, a major holiday area is 20 mins by car and has many modern shops, restaurants, nightclubs and other attractions. The two long sandy beaches with promenades sit either side of the giant rock outcrop called Peñon de Ifach with a height of over 1000 feet. Benidorm with Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia water park and Mundomar is about 35 mins drive.
Further details
Walking is a popular attraction as the valley has a long flat bottom and for the energetic, superb climbs. Jalon, a wine producing area, has a wine museum and two bodegas.
