The garden has mature palm trees and fruit trees, pick your own oranges and lemons, grapes and plums. It also has a huge rustic stone barbeque and a modern 8 x 4 private pool, for enjoying those wonderful days spent entirely outdoors in the Spanish sunshine.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in euros. Changeover day is Friday during high season, when all lets run Friday to Friday (unless otherwise agreed). Arrival and departure days flexible in low season. Booking deposit £100 UK pounds per week booked. (This deposit is held over against damages and is returned within a fortnight of your departure, by English cheque). Full payment required on arrival, in cash, in euros.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Thursday in high season, flexible at other times (please enquire).

Bedroom 2 with twin beds and built-in wardrobes.
Bedroom 3 spacious single room with single bed and wardrobe.
Sofabed for 1 extra single if required, in living room.
Bathrooms: Family bathroom with bath, shower within bath, shower curtain, WC, bidet and wash-hand basin. Storage and shelves.
Kitchen: Fitted kitchen with electric oven, hob with 3 gas and 1 electric ring, large fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Saucepans, pots, crockery and cutlery supplied.
Utility Room: Washing machine.
Iron and ironing board.
Fixed washing line outside the back of the villa.
Fabulous old-fashioned original porcelain washing sink outside.
Living Rooms: Sunny large living/dining room with 2 picture windows onto surrounding terraces, door to terraces. Huge rustic stone-built old Spanish style chimney breast with working fireplace for burning logs. New, pine dining table and chairs. TV.
Cleaning/towels/

Sheets and towels provided.(Clean sheets and towels on Fridays). Please bring your own swimming towels.

Outside
Wonderful mature gardens with many palm trees, fruit trees (pick your own fruit), sun terraces on various levels, tiled stone table and chairs, fantastic huge Spanish-style purpose built barbecue, mountain side at back of garden, walled and gated child-safe 8 x 4 private swimming pool for your sole use and integral garage for keeping the car cool out of the sun. Sun terraces by pool have sunbeds, plastic table and chairs and parasols. Roman steps into pool.

Coast/Beach
Fabulous, beautifully maintained, natural golden sandy beaches of Tavernes, Cullera and Gandia are 20 minutes drive through the orange groves.
The more commercial, famous beaches at Javea and Denia - with beachside shops and restaurants are about 40 minutes drive.

Golf
A golf course, Oliva Nova Golf, is half an hour's drive.
Go-karting, water sports, Vergel safari park, Guadalest (with its cobbled streets, novelty shops, micro-miniature museum, monastery, turquoise reservoir up high in stunning mountain setting), waterfalls to swim in (Fonts de L'Algar), tennis, fabulous aquaparks, Terra Mitica theme park, caves, mountain rambles, picnics in the unspoilt countryside. Valencia's extraordinary architecture at the "City of Arts and Sciences", castles to explore, local markets to browse, boat trips along the coast and much more. Travel
Car hire is essential due to rural location of the villa.
Nearest airport is Valencia, at about 1 hours drive (motorway).
Alicante airport is approx 2 hours drive from the villa(motorway).

Distances
Nearest village is Barx, about 5 minutes drive from the villa. The nearest town is Gandia, about 20 minutes drive through orange groves and a pine coverd mountainside.
The elegant city of Valencia is a treat to visit and is a pleasant half-hour train ride through rice paddy fields and orange groves, from Gandia.

Further details
Nearby Barx village has 2 supermarkets, 3 butchers, a bakery, a pharmacy, doctor“s surgery, bric-a-brac store, tobacconist/stationers, one smart restaurant and several bars which do cheap canteen type food.
The village of Simat is about 10 minutes down the mountain and has cash machines in several banks - and more bars.
The villa is in a rural setting amongst some other villas in the orange groves and is walking distance from a recommended genuine Spanish paella restaurant.

Booking notes
Booking deposit is by English cheque and is £100 per week booked.(UK Pounds). This is retained against damages during your stay, against damages. It is returned to you by English cheque, within a fortnight of your departure.
Full payment for your holiday is required on arrival at the villa, in cash, in euros.
