Substantially refurbished over the past five years, with two new bathrooms, re-fitted kitchen, new non-slip stair tiles, re-tiled terrace and pool, plus air-conditioning. Three bedrooms with a double or two single sofa beds in the large living room. One bathroom for the master and second bedrooms, second shower room downstairs for the third bedroom. Spacious split-level terrace with built-in barbecue. Quite possibly the nearest property to the beach with its own pool. We own the house outright, so rest assured nothing will come between you and your holiday.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property, not per person. Extra days over a week pro-rata the weekly rate. Long winter lets price negotiable. £25 per week discount for two week bookings. For young families, one cot and high chair supplied free of charge, extra cot/high chair £25 p.w. We accept debit/credit card payments via the online facility on our own website, giving UK guests financial security under the 1974 Consumer Credit Act. REMAINING AUTUMN DATES - extra days beyond a week - £50 per day.
Changeover day
Any day arrival or departure, subject to negotiation and existing bookings. Arrival time normally 4pm, departure 10am. Times are flexible if there is not a same-day changeover.

Notes on accommodation
Hairdryers, bedside tables and lamps in all bedrooms. Safe in main bedroom. Iron, ironing board and drying frame. Attractive rugs throughout. A 'welcome pack' is provided and there is a British Agent on hand to ensure a trouble-free stay.
Outside
Private pool, approx 8x3m, 0.75m to 1.9m deep, with Roman steps at the shallow end. Large terrace newly re-tiled in 2008, including non-slip pool surround tiles. Two outside tables, with eight chairs and an umbrella. Six sunbeds, brick built barbecue.
Coast/Beach
A three minute walk down to Burriana Beach, the main 'blue-flag' beach in Nerja. Numerous bars and restaurants plus a small supermarket on the beachfront. Ten minute walk into the centre of town.
Golf
20 minutes drive from the nearest golf course 'Baviera' at Velez-Malaga.
Travel
Malaga is the nearest airport, about 35 miles or 50 minute drive, with motorway access to within a mile of the town centre. A car is not really needed, unless you intend to explore the local area.
Distances
Well worth a visit is Frigiliana, about five miles away, a restored Moorish mountain village. Nearby is the restored 'lost' hamlet of Acebuchal, originally abandoned in 1948. Two miles from the fishing village of Maro with the Nerja Caves and two hours from Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace.
Further details
A very popular resort, readily accessible from Malaga and its international airport, with motorway access to within a mile of the town centre. Nestling on the foothills of the mountains, the old town, with its narrow vehicle restricted cobbled streets, offers a more relaxed holiday from that found in the more fashionable resorts of the Costa del Sol. The most well known beach, Burriana, is regularly awarded a 'blue flag'. With other small picturesque beaches, the famous 'Balcon de Europa' promenade, numerous small shops, bars and restaurants, plus its wonderful all year round climate, Nerja has something for everyone, especially families and the more mature holidaymaker. However, there are some fairly steep roads and walkways, so it may not be suitable for those with walking or breathing difficulties.

So central, ideal for children with its own pool and a stones throw away from shops, restaurants and beach. We had a wonderful family holiday in the Alamar Townhouse. It was a super location just 3 minutes walk to the beach. Our daughter, hubby and 2 kids were with us, and the kids just loved the pool. The old town is a pleasant 15 minute walk away. The town house was ideal and was very clean and spacious. We would definitely recommend it for a holiday. John G. July 2010.

About the owner
My wife and I first went to Nerja about fourteen years ago and decided 'this is for us'. Although we have now bought four properties in the Burriana area (all on the Owners Direct site), we are not travel or rental agents, we run them privately as our long-term pension fund. We hope to retire out there someday, in the meantime we maintain and look after them as anyone would their own home.
