The property is on the 2nd floor of a 1930's building just off Plaza España, less than 5 minutes walk from the main railway station, the metro (on a direct line from the airport). Free on street parking is available (except on Tuesday when the local street market takes place). There is an excellent choice of shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. All the central shopping areas and sites are within easy walking distance. There is also good access to the excellent public transport system which goes further afield to the City of Arts and Science, the port and the city beaches at Malvarrosa, the National Park at Albufera and the lovely beaches at El Saler and La Devesa.

Lounge with dining area (seats 4) television, DVD player, Hi Fi, selection of CDs, books (novels, guidebooks, maps dictionaries etc small wrought iron balcony. The large comfy sofa converts easily to a full size single bed. |

Towels and linen are provided. The flat is thoroughly cleaned and linen changed before the start of each rental period. |
Notes on accommodation
We operate a strict non smoking rule inside the flat (real addicts can take refuge on the balcony).

Coast/Beach
Buses provide easy access to the beaches at Malvarrosa and El Saler and La Devesa. Malvarrosa is the city beach which provides a broad swathe of sand for as far as you can see. El Saler is a lovely family beach with a couple of good fish restaurants overlooking the beach and La Devesa is a relaxed, go as you please kind of place.
Travel
Valencia airport is well served by direct flights from Stansted, (Ryanair & Easyjet) Gatwick (Easyjet), Coventry (Thomsonfly), Bristol (Easyjet) and Manchester, Leeds & Newcastle (Jet2com). There are good direct rail connection with Barcelona (3 hours), Madrid (3 hours) amd Alicante (2 hours). 3 Car Hire firms have offices in the station.
Further details
There is a small daily indoor market just round the corner that sells a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, local cheese, olives etc. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk from the flat and has an excellent range of basics. There are also several Chinese food shops in the adjoining streets. Late night and Sunday shopping is available at an Opencor, also five minutes walk. There are some friendly neighbourhood restaurants nearby serving very good food as well as numerous tapas bars and a couple of South American restaurants. There are numerous banks with ATM machines, all of which can process the transaction in English, within a couple of minutes walk. There is also a good leisure centre at Abastos (10 minutes walk) with gym, swimming pools, sauna and steam rooms.
Booking notes
Payment in full is required within 14 days of making the booking. We also ask for a deposit of 95 euros which will be returned within 14 days of the end of the rental period providing everything is in order.

We really enjoyed our stay - the flat is in a very central position which is great when you are new to a city - around the cathedral is certainly one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in Spain. We also had a great time watching the Americas Cup - so glamorous!

We had a great time in Valencia, it’s a city with lots to offer and we felt that this past week was a good start but leaves us with much more to do – after all, you can’t stop in every bar or restaurant in just a week however hard you try! The apartment is a perfect base to start exploring the city, was very comfortable and well stocked with all we could need for our stay. The pack you put together was so comprehensive it made us feel very confident about spending time in a strange city.
