Access to the rooftop terrace, which overlooks the beautiful Mar Menor and the La Manga strip. The apartment is only 2 mins walk from the beach, has hot and cold air conditioning in bedrooms and living room and is very secure with a video entry system. due to the apartment being on the 1st floor it would be ideal for families with children.

Large terrace which accommodates a table, 1 comfortable upholstered bench, 2 upholstered chairs, plus 2 sun loungers plus ample room to dine and enjoy the summer evenings.
Coast/Beach
The beach at the Mar Menor is only a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The Mar Menor is a large salt water lagoon which has an average of 3000 hours of sunshine per year and is one of the hottest areas in Spain. In summer the average temperature is 28C and rarely falls below 15C providing an ideal place to escape the British winter. The Mar Menor is also famous for the black mud.People flock to this area because the black mud is said to help some skin conditions and releive pain from rheumatism.
Golf
5 mins taxi ride to the world famous La Manga golf course. In addition to the La Manga golf club there are between 8 and 10 municipal courses available to play at a reasonable rate within 30 mins drive.
Travel
Nearest airport San Javier (Murcia), which is around a 20-25 mins drive to the apartment. Alicante airport is around 1 hour drive.
Distances
Places of interest include Cabo de Palos a typical fishing village, offering a wide choice of cuisine and an excellent market on Sundays. Cartagena: excellent for shopping and sight seeing and nightlife (30 mins). Islas Hormigas: a marine reserve with an abundance of sea life and excellent conditions for diving (5 mins). Activities: Go-Karting 5 mins away, scuba diving, wind surfing, water skiing all within a short distance. La Manga strip (5 mins).
Further details
The Mar Menor retains a Spanish way of life now missing from some other areas. The village of Playa Honda is a small community on the SE Mediterranean coast of Spain in the Province of Murcia. It has a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and restaurants all within walking distance. A pleasant stroll along the beach brings you to Camping La Manga which has its own beach bar and excellent, reasonably priced restaurant. There are many other bars and restaurants only a short drive away and local shops, restaurants, bars and a supermarket all within walking distance of the apartment. If it's the nightlife you’re after then La Manga strip is the place for you, with its many bars, restaurants and shops, only a 5-10 min taxi ride.
Booking notes
To secure booking a £100 deposit is required (non refundable), followed by the balance eight weeks before
departure along with a £100 refundable breakages fee.
Cleaning on departure is included in the price.
