10 minutes away the beautiful inland sea of the Mar Menor provides safe family beaches including Los Narejos one of only 5 Spanish beaches to be awarded the Q mark for quality
Close by and accessible by car is the remote Calblanque Nature Reserve with fantastic quiet beaches perfect for those romantic breaks.

Golf
9-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus with fantastic greens, water hazards, Part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail which icludes La Torre and El Valle, discounts apply for clients staying in the Villa. The course is exclusive to occupants of the resort only. 10 courses within 20 minute drive including La Manga, Villamartin, La Finca and Mosa Trajectum.

Special interest holidays
The Hormigas islands are rocky outcrops slightly above sea level just off Cabo de Palos, near the most southern tip of the Mar Menor.
Because of their exceptional undersea beauty, with abundant flora, fauna and shipwrecks dating from different periods in history, the islands have been declared a marine reserve. They are even acknowledged by some as one of the best places to practise scuba diving in Spain.
There are boat trips to the islands from Cabo de Palos all year round. The first stop is known as the Bajo de Enmedio, a shallow where the rocky points of the isles are just four metres below sea level. Here it is possible to see various species of fish: grouper, conger eels, morays, octopus, as well as large shoals of doncellas and castảuelas - the typical rock fish of this area.
Further on, the area known as Bajo de Fuera, just past the lighthouse isle, is where the remains of shipwrecked vessels can be seen.

Travel
Murcia San Javier Airport only 10 minutes away and Alicante Airport 45 minutes away.

Distances
Los Alcazares 5km and Torre Pachecco 5km away.
The historic cities of Murcia and Cartagena are within a 25 minutes drive.
