Changeover day
Usual changeover day is a Saturday, however flexibility is adopted wherever possible.

Towels and bedding provided (included in price). Apartment is cleaned on changeover and weekly sheet change for rentals of 2 weeks or more. Guests should bring their own swimming towels.

Notes on accommodation
During high season there is a lifeguaerd. The pool has a discreet perimeter fence with locked gate (key provided). You can watch your children in the shallow water from the patio. There is a fan for your comfort and two electric heaters should you need them.

Accessibility
The apartment can be accessed by wheelchair from the gardens.

Outside
There is a large, shared pool in beautiful landscaped gardens. The water gets deeper gradually. There are showers for you to use before you swim and also toilets near the pool. Patio furniture and a barbecue are provided.

Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is a 10 minute walk from apartment. Cabopino harbour and beach are a 5 minute drive from the apartment.

Golf
The apartment is near Calahonda Golf Courses including Miraflores, Cabopino and Club de Golf la Siesta. Our management office can help you with your golfing needs.

Travel
Malaga Airport is well served by most regional airports in Britain. Calahonda is approximately 30 minutes drive away from Malaga Airport.

Thomson Fly connect Malaga Airport.

Further details
Aqualand is the biggest water park in Europe and only 15 minutes drive away.
Tivoli World is an amusement park with more than 40 rides, musical shows for all ages, and restaurants for all tastes. Its about 20 minutes away from the apartment.
The Hipodromo Racecourse makes an entertaining day out for the whole family, again this is only 15 minutes from the apartment.
The Miramar shopping and leisure complex in Fuengirola opened in 2004. Miramar is a modern shopping mall in the center of Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol.
As well as shopping and eating, you may also wish to visit Miramars' multiplex, 12 screen Cinema complex, which shows a film in English every day.

Booking notes
25% of rental value required to secure booking. Balance of 75% of rental value due 1 month before arrival. At this time £100 security deposit is also required, this will be refunded once keys have been returned and apartment checked.

Owner profile


About the owner
We are retired and spend our time between the UK, Poland, Spain and New Zealand. We bought the apartment on Antares in 1986 and have spent many happy holidays there with our two daughters. Our granddaughter took her first steps there on holiday in 2004. We use the apartment outside the high season with family and friends. We love to relax on the patio and swim in the pool. We take long walks on the beach and visit local markets. We have now done the main tourist attractions like the Alhambra in Grenada, Cordoba and Ronda but we would highly recommend them. Our apartment on Antares is a very good base for sightseeing on the Costa del Sol and further afield. The pool and gardens are also idea just to relax and enjoy the sun.

We bought the apartment because of the beautiful pool and gardens. These make Antares stand out from other communities on Calahonda.

Unique benefits of the property
It is a ten minute walk down to the beach and shops/restaurants. Although you need a car to make the most of your stay the bus service along the coast is very good.
