Casa Miranda is situated in the white washed village of El Poleo on the eastern edge of the Sierra Subbetica Parque National, 10km from Priego de Cordoba. El Poleo a picturesque village overlooking three Sierras. This fully refurbished Casa is an ideal base for a variety of tastes and interests, or simply a peaceful holiday destination in beautiful surroundings. Casa Miranda is registered and licensed by the Junta de Andalucia/Consejeria de Turismo/VTAR/CO/0039.

Notes on prices
Prices are per room per night and includes a continental breakfast. An evening meal with wine can be arranged with prior. Picnic lunches can also be arranged. We offer late arrivals the option of sandwiches or a salad by prior arrangement. Book for 7 nights and pay for 6 only.
Notes on accommodation
During the cooler months the rooms are heated. All rooms have thermostatically controlled hot water. All rooms have hairdryers. Casa Miranda because of it's situation is not suitable for wheelchair access.
Casa Miranda is registered with the Department of Tourism in Andalucia and we work closely with the tourist office in Priego de Cordoba.
We are also comprehensively insured.
Outside
The ground floor terrace enjoys extensive views over the olive groves and has a covered eating area for guests to enjoy breakfast or a home cooked evening meal, or to just relax whilst sampling some of the local wines. There are also a couple of sun loungers for guests to use. The first floor balcony offers stunning views over the Sierra's, Horconcera, Albayete and Ahillos.
Coast/Beach
Malaga, Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola are all by car 1½ hour drive away.
Golf
The closest golf courses can be found at Antequera Golf, Club de Golf Los Moriscos Granada and Club de Campo de Cordoba. Also, within 1½ hours drive from El Poleo there are at the last count at least 42 other courses on the Costa Del Sol. Many of which are Championship courses. Details on application.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada, Granada is approx 1½ hours away by car.
Travel
Granada airport is 45 minutes from El Poleo and Malaga is 90 minutes. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Priego de Cordoba a vibrant town perched on a level outcrop is justly famed for it's Baroque architecture, churches and one of Spain's largest fountains is 15 minutes drive away. You will also find shops, banks, restaurants, medical facilities and a bus station in this stunning Andalucian town. Fuente Tojar 5 minutes away has the nearest municipal swimming pool with it's own restaurant and bar. The town also has plenty of other bars where the locals will make you very welcome.
Further details
Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the Via Verde stretching from Luque in the North to Puente Genil further South. The Subbetica is home to many species of wild life including the wild cat, boar and the Cabrera Shrew. Also it is home to the Griffon Vultures, Hoopoe, Golden Eagles and Peregrine Falcon. Many wild flowers can be found including several species of Orchid.
