Aloha Gardens is renowned as one of the best resorts in the area. Built in the style of an Andalucia village with beautiful gardens & fountains, the resort has a superb central pool, a 2nd pool with a slide/children's section and a 3rd pool with a jacuzzi that is covered & heated in the winter + a children's play area. Facilities include bars, video shop with internet, hairdressers, bank, tennis/multi sports courts. The Aloha area boasts the best strip of restaurants in the Marbella area catering for every kind of taste + supermarkets, cafes.

Early Bird: 10% discount from Nov 2008 - Dec 2009 (min 1 week). Special Offer: 20% discount on September and October bookings (min 1 week).

Heating/air conditioning (included in price) & marble floors throughout. Situated on 1st floor (2 lifts) and suitable for couples, families (cot supplied on request) and mobile elderly. Young single-sex parties not accepted. Chairs (2), umbrella and cold bag, ice blocks supplied for beach use. Smoking on terrace only.

Supermarket/restaurants 5-mins walk. Weekly market 10-mins walk.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches (2) are situated in Puerto Banus - 5 mins drive/20 mins walk. Numerous beaches, with facilities, are within a 10 mins drive, including the San Pedro beaches. Details on recommended beaches are in the apartment.
Golf
The apartment is situated in 'golf valley' and is surrounded by 5 courses, 2 of which - Las Brisas and Aloha - are amongst the finest on the Costa del Sol (the Andalucian Open is held on the Aloha course and can be watched from the terrace). Many more courses, including one with floodlit facilities are within 10 mins drive. Most courses give discounts between June and September. Skiing
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is easily accessible from Nueva Andalucia - approx a 2.5 hour drive.
Travel
Car hire is recommended although not essential. Cabs run to/from Malaga airport for approx 80 euros each way. Luxury, a/c buses run from Malaga airport to Marbella bus station (approx 4 euros) & buses from the bus station to Puerto Banus (approx 1 euro). Cabs to/from Puerto Banus cost about 7 euros & about 12 euros to/from Marbella. Journey times (by car): Malaga 30 mins, Rhonda 1 hr, Gibraltar 1.5 hrs, Jerez 1.45 hrs, Granada/Cordoba 2.5 hrs. Distances
Aloha restaurants/shops - ¼ mile. Nueva Andalucia commercial centre/market - ½ mile. Puerto Banus (port) & La Campana (village) - 1 mile. San Pedro (town) 3 miles. Marbella (town) 4 miles. Places of interest include: Malaga 30 mins, Rhonda 1 hour, Gibraltar 90 mins, Jerez 1 hour 45 mins, Granada 2.5 hours (by car). The waterpark and zoo are both a 30 min drive away.
Further details
There is a cosy bar (Pedro's) & sports bar (El Jardin) just outside the gated area, along with a bank, hairdresser's & video shop (with internet access). The Aloha area (5 min walk) boasts a range of restaurants, cafes/bars, a supermarket, a newsagents & a sports/betting bar. Further supermarkets, banks, cafes & restaurants are within a 10 min walk. Booking notes
Booking is held for 1 week without deposit/obligation. £100 per week deposit required on confirmation of booking. Balance required 6 weeks prior to departure. Refundable key/damage deposit required 2 weeks before departure. Prices are calculated on number of nights in any given price period. Time of arrival 1400/departure 1000. Discounts apply to bookings of 7 nights or more.

I have travelled around the world & this is the best view I have ever had. It is not just good; it is spectacular! The girls in The Point were very friendly. We received a good Irish welcome. We went to the Scandinavian restaurant on our last night & the food was fantastic. The apartment was very comfortable. Everything I needed was there. This is our 3rd visit to the apartment. We love the view, the area & the restaurants. We always go to the Gallery. The food is superb & they look after us. Fantastic - great weather, great apartment, great holiday! Thank you once again for the use of the apartment. Had a lovely time, weather very hot as usual & had some lovely meals out again. Our favourite restaurant is still El Girasol.
