Finca Anna - The Annexe is situated in the hills above the beautiful Lake Vinuela which is at the foot of the Sierra de Alhama and Tejeda Mountains. The Finca is part of a scattered hamlet which is located approximately 3km from the Lake. The property has been sympathetically restored to retain the features of a traditional Spanish Finca. Accommodation is divided into two separate units, with the owners, Keith and Carol, living in the main part of Finca Anna. They will respect your privacy, but will be available if you require any help or advice. There is access to a large pool and is a cosy retreat for a couple wanting a relaxing holiday in typical Andalucian country side.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday from 19/5/11 to 21/9/11 and fllexible on other dates.

Clean bed linen, tea towels and towels will be provided at the end of each week but we kindly request that guests provide their own beach/pool towels. |

Notes on accommodation
Sorry, no pets. No smoking inside the property, but allowed outside only.
Outside
Use of the swimming pool 8m x 4m (shared with the owners). Sun loungers with cushions and parasol are provided together with a barbecue and garden furniture ideal for dining alfresco. Pergola by the pool with table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
The sandy beaches of Torre del Mar and Nerja are 20 and 35 minutes respectively.
Golf
The nearest golf course is a 25 minute drive.
Skiing
Skiing is a 1 hour 40 minute drive to the Sierra Nevada ski resort.
Travel
Malaga airport is a 45 minute drive. Granada Airport is a 1hr & 20 minute drive. Car hire essential. If required we can recommend a reliable company at Malaga airport.
Further details
In addition to the larger towns of Torre del Mar and Velez Malaga where there is a hypermarket and modern shopping mall, nearer are the villages of Puente don Manuel and Vinuela where basic supplies can be obtained. There are a number of restaurants in the area, in particular, Chez Spice a traditional Indian and Miguels in Los Romanes, excellent steaks! As well as being a great place to get away from it all, the area is also perfect for outdoor activities, especially walking and bird watching. The picturesque lake at Vinuela is approximately 10 minutes drive away and is ideal for walking and enjoying the wonderful scenery. There are several golf courses along the coast. Granada and the Alhambra Palace can be reached in around 1.5 hours.
Booking notes
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required on booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.

I am so sorry that we left without seeing you again and without being able to thank you for our wonderful stay at the Annexe. It was so beautiful up there in peace and tranquillity and I love the decor and cosiness of Casa Anna or rather its annexe... also loved your little dog and could easily have kidnapped him! We saw so many houses and plots that I became quite confused but I think I have found something completely different than I had in my mind's eye so will probably return very soon. You must have gone through the same thing and I think you chose brilliantly in the end. Angie x
