Finca Barranco is situated at the foothills of the Bernia Mountains with access directly on to the hills. The house has 4 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms, small balcony and central heating. The sitting room is in the old part of the house, with beamed ceilings, stone floor and log fire. The dining room overlooks the garden and has beautiful views of the hills and vineyards.

The newly built, centrally heated house adjoins an old stone casita which has been turned into the sitting room, snug, bodega and study which was the old donkey room. In the 2 acre grounds there is a pool (10m x 5m), barbecue, 3 car garage, various patio areas to sit and eat or drink and ornamental and fruit trees.

The coast is approximately 20/30 minutes.

Further details
Our guests can choose English or Continental breakfast, packed lunch, light meal. However, there are many local restaurants to choose from. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the house and grounds and to share our relaxed life style. We have a dog and cat (not allowed in the house), horse and free-range chickens which produce our eggs. Apricots, grapes, olives, figs, lemons, almonds and many ornamental trees are grown in the grounds.
The Jalon Velley is a grape growing area with its Bodegas situated in Jalon where you can taste and buy the wine. The valley can be enjoyed throughout the year and is within 20/30 minutes of the fine beaches of the resort towns/ports of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe. In the autumn, with its grape harvest, it is still warm enough to swim in the sea. In midwinter you can eat lunch outside and enjoy the log fire and central heating in the evening. Springtime brings migrant birds, wild flowers and almond blossom covering every terrace for miles around. Activities in the area include golf, walking, painting, fishing and tennis.
