Instead of heading west from Malaga airport to the usual Spanish holiday areas, why not head East and sample the delights of the real Spain with its stunning mountain scenery, typically Spanish white villages and miles and miles of beaches. Situated approx 20km from the Airport the property is a lovely south facing 3 bedroom town house on a private gated urbanization 3 mins drive from the beach. With its own fenced decked/courtyard, BBQ and lovely 'al fresco' eating area overlooking the communal gardens and pools it makes it an ideal holiday property for families or couples alike and a great location for discovering some of the unspoiled areas of Spain. There is plenty of space with terraces off the lounge and main bedroom and for the serious sun seeker there is also a roof top solarium to top up your tan, or its just a great place to end the day with your Gin & Tonic.

Changeover day
Flexible. To allow time for cleaning, occupancy is usually taken up after 3pm on the day of arrival. Vacated by 10am on the date of departure. For arrivals after 9pm there is a surcharge of 25 euros. This is payable locally to property manager on arrival.

Notes on accommodation
Our on site english speaking property manager will be able to help if needed. He can advise you on places of interest, shopping and restaurants. He can organise collection and delivery to Malaga airport at a cost of 30 euros each way, also drop off and collection to Rincon should you like a night out without your car, at a cost of 15 euros round trip for up to 4 people.

The property is on a gated urbanization so is safe for children.
The property has its own fenced garden area overlooking the pool area and communal gardens.

As well as the outside eating/sitting area and decking there are private balconies from the lounge and main bedroom. Also a roof top solarium with sun beds and parasol for your enjoyment.

Outside
Gated community, so the children are safe. Lovely well maintained communal gardens. There are two seperate pool areas, 1 with a 20m large pool, which during the season has a lifeguard, childrens splash pool, showers and parasols for shade, and 1 pool area with a 15m pool, childrens splash pool, showers and parosols for shade. Please note:Due to the temperature of the pools, they are open from mid May to end September. The sea is open all year round, if you are bold enough!

Coast/Beach
The beach is approx 3 mins away by car. At Rincon de la Victoria there is a 9km stretch of beach which has a lovely promenade which is well light up at night time, lined with great restaurants, cafe bars and chiringuitos on the beach. There are play areas for the children, pedalos, canoes. There are sun beds and parasols for hire during the season which are usually in small groups of about 20 and very reasonably priced for the day,they are usually next to a chiringuitos Showers along the beach.

Golf
Anoreta Golf, a stunningly beautiful 18 hole, 5976m course enjoyed by holiday makers and locals alike. With lush vegetation and great expanses of water to enhance its natural beauty it overlooking the sea, what more could you wish for. Baviera Golf is approx 15 minutes away. Buggies, clubs and private tuition are all available at the club house. Close by there is also a driving range. The club house has a very good value restaurant for lunch time and evening, or you can sit on the terrace overlooking the course with a beer or a coffee. Should you wish to go as a large golfing group there are further properties close by available on same complex.

Skiing
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, which is approx 90 minutes drive away.

Special interest holidays
If you love walking, just take to the hills behind the urbanization, don’t forget to take your binoculars as there are lots of birds. It is not to see Tawny owls sitting on the chimney during the day, hawks hovering above and hoopoo's around the urbanization. 5 minutes drive away there are riding stables, with rides into the mountains and they do have beach rides out of season. This is a very friendly stable, they make you very welcome and after a long hot ride they have a bar to take in a beer or cold drink. Mountain bikes can be hired at Torre del Mar. Scuba diving at Nerja. Boat trips and private charter trips from Caleta.

Travel
Situated approx 20km east of Malaga traveling on the A7 towards Almeria, exit 258. Full directions provided on booking. Although it is not necessary to use it every day, a car is essential to fully enjoy your holiday. We can recommend good value car hire. If you do not hire a car airport collection and delivery service can be arranged with our on site property manager at a cost of 30 euros each way.

Distances
Rincon de la Victoria 2.5km. Torr del Mar 10km. Nerja 20km. Malaga 20km. Aqua Velis Water Park 15 minutes - near shopping complex with Cinemas
go karting/mini motor bikes -10 minutes away on the costal road. Malaga 20km - best way to get to Malaga is by local bus service, takes about 25 mins and costs about 1.30 euros each way. Granada- takes about 1 hr by car, lovely drive up there or by bus from Torre del Mar, which takes just over 2hrs and goes through some stunning scenery.

Further details
The Spanish love to lunch so the local shops and banks close at 2.00pm and open again at 5pm - 9pm. The nearest local supermarket is 5mins by car away in the beautiful white village of Benagalbon selling everything from fresh fruit and veg, meat, fish, to dressing gowns and moth balls. The wines and beers are generally cheaper than the supermarket. Carrafour shopping complex is about 10 mins away it also has a multi screen cinema and bowling alley or El Ingenio is about 15 mins away, again with a multi cinema complex.When you are doing your fresh produce shopping, try the local butchers, bakers, fishmongers, greengrocers you will find they are a lot better value than the supermarkets. Dont be afraid to try out your Spanish, they love it. Listen out for the honking of the horns at the property, this will be the local bakers, fishmonger or greengrocer selling their fresh produce. Look out for the locals selling their produce on the side of the roads. Oranges, lemons, limes, olives, almonds and raisins are specialities.

There are some stunning scenic mountain drives very close by, where you will come across the traditional spanish villages, Moclinrjo, Macharavieya, Almachar, Frigliana, Competa are but a few. You will always get a warm welcome and usually a good meal. Try the Menu del Dia (menu of the day) this is usually available for about 7 euros for 3 courses and drinks are very good value. The Spanish love a festival, dont be to suprised to come across one on your travels. They are very colourful and usually revolve around food and drink, finished off with a good firework display. See our website for dates of local festivals/ferria's. For the children there are water parks, go karts, mini motor bikes, bike and kart hire, water sports, trampolines etc. Eating out is a pleasure and every different taste is catered for - don’t forget to try the tapas, thinly sliced aubergines deep fried and drizzled with honey are delicious.

Booking notes
When you contact us please advise the date you would like to rent the property. We will send you a booking form and reserve the dates. A deposit of 25% to be paid at time of booking. Balance to be paid eight weeks prior to arrival date.
A refundable breakage & key deposit of £100 is required with all bookings, payable with balance of monies. Due to the temperature of the water the pool opening times Mid May- 30th September. The sea is open all of the time, if you are bold enough!
