The apartment, which sleeps up to 6 people, is cool and spacious with generous room sizes, breathtaking sea views and great light. It has a brand new fitted kitchen and bathroom, and has been equipped and furnished with everything required for a perfect seaside holiday. As well as the beach which is under 2 mins walk, there is a lifeguard attended pool and tennis courts, both private to residents of the block.

Bedrooms: Bedrooms 1 and 2 with twin beds, fitted wardrobes and drawers, bedside cabinets and reading lamps.
Both bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans, and there is a safe in bedroom 2. There is also an easy assembly travel cot if required.
Bathrooms: Newly fitted bathroom with bath/shower over, basin, wc and bidet.
Kitchen: Newly fitted kitchen with stainless steel cooker and extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee bean grinder & cafetiere, plus well equipped with pans incl. paella pan, knives and other cooking utensils.
Utility Room: Washing machine, second sink, laundry drying area, ironing board and iron.
Living Rooms: Double sofa bed, dining table and chairs to seat 6, TV, DVD player, hi fi unit with CD/radio, paperback books and board games.
Other: The balcony has exterior lighting and a table and chairs to seat 6. Perfect to enjoy the beach views over breakfast, or the sunset before dinner.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The apartment is fully cleaned prior to the commencement of each stay. It is possible to arrange a mid stay clean for a small extra charge. Bed linen and towels are included, but no beach towels. A welcome pack can be provided on request.

 

Notes on accommodation
There is a fully fitted safe to use during your stay. Beach chairs and a parasol are provided for your use. The apartment is suitable for children, however it is on the fourth floor, so for younger children supervision on the balcony or near windows is essential. Please note that the apartment is non smoking, also no pets please.

Outside
Set in lanscaped gardens, the pool complex (adults and childrens pool) is lifeguard attended, and for residents only. There are also tennis courts and a small childrens play area.

Coast/Beach
The beach, (approx 50m), is wide & sandy, with blue flag accreditation, and is 10km long in total. It is well equipped with chiringuitos (beach bars) in high season, & has a good range of restaurants, tapas bars & icecream parlours along the promenade (all within 5 minutes walk from the apartment). Daimus is a stylish town where many families from Madrid & Valencia own holiday homes. In summer, there is a nightly craft market on the promenade, great to browse on the way out to dinner.

Golf
The prestigious Seve Ballesteros designed Oliva Nova golf complex, listed in the top 50 courses in Spain by Spanish Living magazine, is 10 mins by car.

Travel
Valencia airport is 45 mins by car and Alicante is 1hr 15. The port of Denia is 45 mins drive, and from here you can take a ferry trip to Ibiza or Mallorca. From Gandia (2km from the apartment - 7€ by taxi), the beautiful city of Valencia is very accessible -around 50 minutes on a direct train line, with three trains per hour.

Distances
Gandia (2km from Daimus) is the largest town in the Valencia region after Valencia City. As you would expect there are all big town amenities including sophisticated designer shops, two multiplex cinemas, a casino and a yacht club/marina. Gandia is home to several famous historic buildings which are open to the public, including the beautiful Ducal Palace of the Borgias.
Oliva is under 10 mins by car, with its fascinating old town, castle, museum, great shops and restaurants and weekly market.

Further details
Within a short walk from the apartment are small local supermarkets, a bakers, greengrocers and ATMs. Less than 5 mins away in Gandia are a hypermarket and newly opened shopping complex with a multiplex cinema and bowling arcade.
Other activities in easy distance are go-karting, the El Vergels safari park, and theme and water parks. Hill walking and bird watching are also popular local activities.

Booking notes
20% deposit payable on booking. This will secure the accomodation for your dates and in the event of cancellation is not refundable if the dates are not re-booked.
The balance of the full amount will be payable 8 weeks before the commencement of your stay (or sooner for late bookings).
A damages deposit of £75 is also payable - this will be refunded once the apartment has been checked by our local agent.
