Welcome to Casa La Illusion de mi Padre (The Dream of my Father) is situated in a very quiet, semi-rural location, looking over the hills of Medina Sedonia, but within easy reach of all your needs. Just a 5 minute drive to the centre of the bustling town of Chiclana and a further 10 minutes to the beautiful blue flag beach of La Barossa. Within walking distance there are 2 local Venta’s serving excellent local cuisine, supermarket which serves freshly baked bread and a pharmacy. The villa has an enclosed walled and gated entrance suitable for parking up to two vehicles with private inter-com. The villa is located in a 1000 sq.m. plot neatly laid to lawn and landscaped garden.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday, but this is flexible dependant on season and demand. The villa is available from 3.00pm on arrival and must be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure.

Outside
The property boasts a large landscaped garden,which includes private pool, a large patio and seating area, purpose built Pergola's one with built in barbecue and another for that all important shade.
The freshwater swimming pool measures 8m x 4m and has underwater lighting, sunbeds are provided for your use. The garden is laid to lawn & shingle with attractive plants and small trees. There is a double gated drive which can accommodate several cars.
The property has a 6ft wall/fence surrounding it and if your wish is complete privacy, you can close the gates, relax, leaving the world and its worries outside!
Coast/Beach
The area of Costa De La Luz boasts some of the most beautiful unspoilt long white sandy beaches. La Barrosa beach has been granted the Blue Flag for Clean Seas of Europe ever since this award was founded. Also nearby are totally undeveloped beach areas with sand dunes. La Barrosa beach is 15 minutes drive. Conil de la Frontera, a lively little Spanish seaside resort, also with a beautiful beach, is around 15 minutes drive.
Golf
There are several challenging golf courses in the area, one which was designed by Severiano Ballesteros/36 hole. All of these courses are within 10-15 minutes drive of Pago del Humo.
Travel
Airports: Jerez de la Frontera 35 mins. Seville 1.5 hours.
Gibraltar 1.5 hours.
Distances
Chiclana de la Frontera 10 minutes drive. Cadiz 20 min drive. Jerez 30 min drive. Seville 1.5hr drive. Marbella / Puerto Banus 2 hr via motorway. Malaga 2.5 hours via motorway. Car hire is recommended.
Further details
There is an aqua park which is 15 minutes drive and also a go kart track (that rates quite highly) 10 mins drive away. Seville is a must see place if you can fit it in, there is lovely architecture, beautiful beaches and exquisite places to eat. We have found the locals are more hospitable and friendly than anywhere we have been.
Booking notes
Deposit of £150 payable on booking with the balance to be paid no less than 6 weeks before arrival. A breakages / damage deposit of £150 is to be paid with the rental balance. This will be returned within 7 days of departure providing no damage has been reported.
