The property has a beautiful horizon swimming pool which is surrounded by a removable fence for child safety. The villa is very private and surrounded by a wall. There are spectacular views from all parts of the 100sq m terrace which has a BBQ area, outside sitting areas with teak furniture, umbrella and a retractable overhead awning, 6 sun loungers, flowerbeds with tropical plants and a double garage with a full size ping pong table.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. All prices are fully inclusive of electricity, air conditioning, heating, towels and linen. Also included, if required, is a cot for infants, cot linen and a highchair. Prices are negotiable for longer lets.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover date is Saturday.

Bedrooms: All bedrooms have quality beds with good mattresses, bedside tables, reading lamps, air conditioning, fans, built-in wardrobes, marble floors, curtains and shutters. In the principal bedroom there are sliding French windows that open on a large terrace.
Bathrooms: 2 marble bathrooms with quality fittings and power showers, hooks for towels, bathroom cabinets, mirrors, shower glass (not curtains!).
Bathroom 1 is a large full bathroom with a bath and power shower.
Bathroom 2 is smaller with a show.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern new appliances and utensils. Fridge, freezer, 4 ring halogen stove, oven, grill, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a full range of crockery, glassware and other cooking utensils.
Utility Room: Clothes horse and pegs outside. Cleaning materials and utensils including hoover, mops, brushes, iron, ironing table, etc.
Living Rooms: The villa has an open plan living, dining room area surrounded by 3 large sliding double doors. There are 2 sofas, TV (with satellite), DVD, video, mini stereo, an extendable dining table with 6 chairs, air conditioning unit and radiator.

linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are all supplied within the rental and sufficient quantities for your party numbers are left for your use. Please supply your own beach towels. Bath towels are supplied, but please do not use them on the beach or on the sun beds.

Notes on accommodation
The villa provides a child friendly environment, with a retractable wooden gate around the pool for safety, and the use of a child safety approved cot with mattress (cot linen also provided for all weathers) and highchair. Pool is specially fitted with salt water system that allows 90% of bacteria to be treated by adding soft salt to the pool and 10% through chlorine treatment. This means that the pool has the same hygiene standards as an ordinary chlorine pool, but does not give you itchy and red eyes or cause skin information. In fact a salt pool is very good for the hair and skin, and will allow constant use without any irritation. The pool is managed by a pool cleaner once per week at no extra cost.

Outside
The terraces completely surround the villa and provide shade and sun at most times of the day. There is a wooden teak table, six chairs and a bench on one side of the house with a retractable awning for shade. On another there are 4 sun beds with an umbrella. There is also a cane covered area with a built-in BBQ. Surrounding the terraces there are lots of planted areas with mature flowers and plants and amazing views to the sea and mountains.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach to the property is Burriana Beach 10-15 min walk. Playa Burriana is the largest beach and most famous beach in the area. Burriana is a wide beach composed of a mixture of fine sand and pebbles, making it easy to walk on. Palm umbrellas and sun-beds can be hired here and there are many restaurants and cafes, both on the beach and very close to it. On the beach, plenty of water sports and activities are offered including introductory scuba diving and day cruises.

Golf
The nearest golf course to Nerja is Baviera Golf (18 holes), 15 mins drive away. There is also Anoreta Golf Course (18 holes) 20 mins drive from Nerja.

Skiing
For winter visitors, the 'Sierra Nevada' ski resort, near Granada, is about 2 hours drive away.

Travel
The nearest and most convenient airport is Malaga (AGP) which is approx 50 min away from the property. For transportation from the airport you can either hire a taxi at the airport, arrange for pick up before hand or hire a car, please contact us for recommendations. If flights to Malaga are unsuitable for any reason, Ryanair fly to Granada and Easyjet fly to Almeria.

Distances
Nerja is a beautiful and authentic Spanish town that has managed to fight the high rise resorts of the west of Malaga, with the Almijara mountains coming down to the sea forming cliffs and coves as well as the 1km long Burriana Beach. The famous Nerja caves, natural parks and beaches all add to Nerja's appeal and are a draw for families and couples alike. Further details
The Nerja Caves, one of Spain's biggest tourist attractions, are well worth a visit. A extensive network of fascinating underground caverns with the World's biggest stalactites, plus an auditorium and stage where the annual music and arts festival takes place. Nearby is Maro, a picturesque village with panoramic views across the sea and a small-secluded beach, invisible from the cliff top. The mountains shelter many small attractive villages, notably Frigiliana with its restored Roman town and narrow vehicle-free cobbled streets. Further afield is the historic city of Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace (pre-booking advised), or perhaps a trip to Malaga and the new Picasso Museum. Marbella and Puerto Banus also provide a great day out, as do visits to Mijas, Antequera and the El Torcal National Park. For winter visitors, the 'Sierra Nevada' ski resort, near Granada, is about two hours drive away.
