This modern and stylish 3 bedroomed, air conditioned villa is the perfect holiday base for families and couples alike. The 8m x 4m pool and terrace are south-facing providing all day sun, and the outside barbeque is ideal for those relaxed evenings by the pool with a bottle of Rioja. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets in the nearby town of Pego (featured on Channel 4's 'A Place in the Sun') just 5 minutes away by car. Miles of beautiful beaches are found along this coast. With gentle sloping golden sands, they are ideal for families. The nearest is a 10 minute drive from the villa.

Changeover day
We can usually be flexible about changeover days. Normal arrival time is 4.00pm and departure time 10am. If there is no booking immediately before or after your dates we try to be flexible with arrival and departure times.

Notes on accommodation
Each of the bedrooms has its own air-conditioning unit, as well as one in the main living area. Once inside, the villa is all on one level with the pool area leading directly from the living room. Please note no smoking allowed inside the villa.

Outside
There are 6 sunbeds by the 8m x 4m pool, and seats for 6 around the outside table. A separate patio area can be found in the garden. BBQ and outside sink are available on the patio.
Coast/Beach
There are many sandy, shallow, blue flag beaches to be found along this part of the coast, ideal for families. The nearest to the villa is an 10 minute drive, and has two bars/restuarants plus nearby windsurfing school during the season.
Travel
Monte Pego is found mid way between Alicante and Valencia, each of which is approx 90 kms away. Monte Pego is reached via Junction 62 from the Motorway. Car Hire is essential.

Further details
The nearby historic town of Denia is well worth a visit. The ancient castle remains, built into edge of the mountain, overlook the fabulous marina. There are plenty of interesting shops to visit, along with a wide choice of restaurants and Tapas bars. Valencia, Spain's 3rd largest city, is well worth a visit for those wanting to travel a little further. It can be reached in just over an hour by car and is packed with museums, art galleries, exhibitions and churches. Guadalest, Spain's most visited village is also about an hours drive away. A small white-washed village, it has been built into the mountain rock and provides an interested day trip.
The El Vergel Safari Park is found near to Monte Pego - just a few minutes drive away. Here you can drive through the park and see lions, tigers, ostrich and zebra. On foot you can walk through the Avery, the petting yard, and see the monkeys and baboons. There are seal and parrot shows to watch and along with the rides on the go-carts, and bounces on the trampolines for the kids, this makes a great day out. Benidorm, which is around a 35 minute drive away, has four major Theme parks. Terra Mitiica lets you experience thrilling rides. Terra Natura, a 'global' zoo, allows the visitor to journey to Africa, America, Europe and Asia all in one day, with shows, mock-towns and views of the animals of the region on the way. Aqualandia is a large water park with pools and water chutes - try the Black Hole! And finally, Mundamar offers dolphin, seal and bird shows, along with a large variety of animals and reptiles to enjoy.
If you don't want to spend your evenings relaxing by the pool with a barbeque, there is plenty to do nearby. The Bella Vista hotel, just a 3 minute walk away, offers fine food during the evenings. Elsewhere on Monte Pego (within a 5 minute drive) you will find an excellent Swiss restaurant, and also the acclaimed Monte Pego Restaurant, which serves fresh food and hosts a barbeque every Friday evening in July.
Booking notes
Rates include the villa cleaning at the end of your stay. Booking is accepted on receipt of 25% deposit, with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before the arrival date. A £200 fully refundable damage deposit is required with your final instalment.
