The apartment is 30 years old, with a secure gated entrance. Fully modernised, newly decorated throughout with a luxury bathroom and kitchen. The terrace overlooks the sea and the old town of Benidorm, with its cobbled streets, many shops and restaurants, is a 10 minute bus ride away. We have owned this apartment for a few years and we chose it above the many newly built apartments for its space, position and character. Although newly decorated and fully modernised, it retains the feeling of home away from home. The much larger than average terrace affords many hours of sunbathing, and eating al fresco. When the beach has been fully explored and enjoyed - this apartment and terrace offers a peaceful retreat.

Changeover day
Change over day is usually Saturday but this can be flexible, and long lets at reduced rates are also available.

Notes on accommodation
The air-conditioning is a real bonus and much better than fans for those hot summer days. The larger than average patio offers sun from morning till night. The apartment is larger than the average newly built flats. It benefits from having a very bright aspect, the dining area and lounge offering sunshine through the picture window and terrace doors all day long, and yet due to it's hillside position, it is also cooler than many apartments. It is secluded and nestles away from the high rise apartments and yet is still just a two minute walk down to all local amenities.
Accessibility
This apartment is not suitable for wheelchairs as it is on a hillside.
Outside
Outdoor table, chairs, two sun beds and sun shade on the larger than average terrace which is not overlooked.This hillside apartment has breathtaking scenic views of the mountain and bay below.
Coast/Beach
Our apartment is only 200 metres down to the bay but please note that for the return, half of this is a steep hill. The beach is safe, sandy with all local shops, banks, bakeries, etc. nearby; a selection of typical cafes and restaurants, positioned attractively around the gentle, curved bay. Round the corner, the wide, white Poniente Beach stretches on and on, offering many cafes and restaurants along the way. You can take a peaceful, half hour walk or 10 min bus ride to the town nearby.
Golf
Golf courses can be found locally.
Travel
Alicante Airport is a 30 minute taxi ride away. A car is not essential as either walking or a short bus ride takes you to all family/evening entertainment.
Distances
Old Benidorm is a 10 minute bus ride away with its lovely Spanish architecture, cobbled streets and lively shops and restaurants.
Further details
There is a market in Finnestrat, every Friday, selling everything from fresh meat, fish and vegetables to linen, clothes and typical Spanish souvenirs. The market is a 2 min walk from the apartment. Although Benedorm town is full of lively restaurants and bars, Finnestrat Bay has it's own selection of attractive walks, restaurants and entertainment and it is not necessary to venture far to have an enjoyable yet peaceful holiday.
Booking notes
Booking couldn't be easier. A non-refundable deposit of 25% (minimum £25) followed by the balance six weeks prior to departure. A further payment of 50 euros when keys are collected is required. A refundable deposit will be taken against damages, returnable upon check out.
