The Mar Menor Golf Resort is a secure gated community and this new villa is in a quiet location within the resort. The 5-star resort has excellent facilities including a communal pool with showers and changing rooms, bars, restaurants, a gym, a supermarket, a bank and a health centre. The villa has double and twin bedrooms, both with large fitted wardrobes. There are 2 fully tiled bathrooms and a well-equipped, spacious kitchen. The living room has dining and lounge areas with vaulted ceilings. Ceiling fans and air-conditioning keep the rooms cool in summer and central heating is available for the winter months. A telephone is available for internal calls.
Patio doors lead onto a covered patio area with a large table and comfortable chairs for dining and relaxing. The rear garden faces south and catches the sun all day. It has a private swimming pool and further patio areas with stairs leading up to the solarium. To the front of the villa is a landscaped area with fountains.

We appreciate the desire to take advantage of mid-week cheap flights and will try to accommodate any arrival/departure times.

Coast/Beach
The unspoilt beaches and the warm, shallow, calm waters of the Mar Menor are just 5 kms away. A wide range of water sports are available including scuba diving in the nearby Mediterranean.
Golf
The resort has its own 18 hole golf course and there are numerous other courses in the area. The famous courses of the La Manga Club are 20 mins away.
Travel
Murcia (San Javier) airport is just 15 mins away, with flights from many low-cost airlines, including Jet2, Ryanair and MyTravel. Alicante airport is about 45 mins away. Car hire is recommended. Cars can be picked up and dropped off at either airport.
Distances
The main regional towns of Cartagena and Murcia are about 20 mins away. The smaller coastal towns of Los Alcazares and San Pedro del Pinatar are about 10 mins away. All towns and villages in the area are completely unspoiled and remain fully Spanish in character.
