Attractive modern 4 bedroom house, situated in a residential area, with sea views from it's 2 terraces. It is a 10-minute walk to the local beach, adjoining the sandy beach of Puerto de Mazarron, harbour and marina. The Puerto is within a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive. A car is strongly recommended. It has it's own private pool approx 7x3m, Jacuzzi, and built-in Barbeque. There are 2 terraces, including one to the master bedroom. Both sea and inland views are available from the house. It benefits from Central Heating for the cooler off-season months. The 3 upper bedrooms all have ceiling fans and built-in wardrobes.

Living Rooms: Spacious lounge and dining room, with satellite TV (inc free-to-air digital UK and European channels), mini HI-FI, DVD player. Patio doors to ground-floor terrace, pool, Jacuzzi and barbeque. 4 sofas, 2 3-seater and 2 2-seater.
Other: 8 cushioned sun-loungers, and 2 outdoor dining tables with 10 comfortable chairs. A Travel-cot, Stroller and baby's high chair are also provided.

Towels and bed linen is provided. Our home is fully cleaned between tenancies.

 

Notes on accommodation
It is easily capable of allowing 2 families to share the accommodation. The single beds can be put together to form a double bed. Ceiling fans cool the upper bedrooms, and there are 2 freestanding fans.


The £100 Security Deposit will be refunded within 7 days of departure from the villa, after property has been checked. Accidents easily happen & if so, a like for like replacement would be appreciated.

Outside
Private pool, approx 7m x 3m, brand new Jacuzzi for up to 5/6 persons, built-in barbeque, outdoor shower for pool & Jacuzzi use. 8 sun-loungers, plus 2 outdoor dining tables for up to 12 persons. Please do not use the pool or Jacuzzi, without first showering off sun lotions etc. Lotions affect the water filtration systems.

Coast/Beach
10-minute walk to the local beach (shale), or 5-minute drive (20-minute walk) to the sandy beach of Puerto de Mazarron, with its promenade, restaurants, shops and bars. There are some local restaurants and a pharmacy, within 5/10 minutes walk. Excellent coastal road leading to Isla Plana and La Azohia (10-minutes drive), and to Cartagena (30-minutes drive) via the mountain road, or the slightly longer inland road. Good road access to Murcia, Totana, Lorca, and Aguilas.

Golf
Camposol, the new urbanisation inland of Mazarron, has an 18 hole Golf course on the development. The Golf Clubhouse has a smart bar, reasonable food and dining facilities with weekly functions, dances etc. Green fees are reasonable and there are 10 other golf courses within a 40-mile radius.

Travel
Nearest airports are Murcia/San Javier (45-minutes drive), Alicante (1h-30 minutes drive), Almeria (1h-45 minutes drive). A new airport is planned, possibly to be located near Fuente Alimo.

Directions will be provided upon booking confirmation.

The use of a car is strongly recommended.

Distances
Puerto de Mazarron, is expanding benefiting from the newly completed Marina (all moorings sold out). Large outdoor markets, in the picturesque towns of Totana (Weds) Lorca (Thurs). Sierra Espuna mountain range is approx 45- minutes drive. Scuba diving school in the Puerto, and also Bahia Bay. The region has an ever growing number of golf courses. The historic town of Cartagena, (30-minutes drive), with it's beautiful architecture, museum, naval base and shops. There are numerous small villages.

Further details
Meet and Greet Service. I provide a meet and greet service, whereby guests will be met at the villa, and given the keys. You will be shown around the property, be given a guide to Mazarron, and most importantly will be able to call someone locally to sort out any problems that might arise. On the day of departure, my representative will collect the keys from you, and ascertain that you have enjoyed your holiday at our home. Other photos and details available on request. There are many restaurants and cafes in Puerto de Mazarron, catering for a wide variety of cuisines. Accidents easily happen and if so, a like for like replacement would be appreciated. We have provided a couple of UK plug adapters and trailing extension sockets - to make it easier to charge up cameras, mobiles, camcorders etc. Food shopping: within the Puerto, the El Arbol supermarket can cater for most basic needs, along with the fresh produce covered market, Plaza de Abastos, or the local Sunday market. You’ll now find 3 new larger supermarkets at the entry to the Puerto from the main road leading from Mazarron. These are just over 5 minute's drive from our home: 'Upper' open 7 days pw, 9am to 9pm, and 9am to 2pm Sundays. 'Mercadonna' and 'Lidl' open 6 days pw, normally 9am to 9pm. 'Lidl' often opens on Sundays as well during the summer. 'El Arbol' in the Puerto also opens 7 days pw, typically 9am to 9pm except on Sundays 9am to 2pm. Smaller 'Dia' supermarkets are typically open 7 days pw, but normally shut for siesta and normally close at 2pm on Sundays. Cartagena, has 2 large hypermarkets, 'Eroski' and 'Carrefour'. Typically open 6 days pw, and frequently (irregularly) open on Sundays. Please take note that Bank Holidays are far more frequent than in the UK, and supermarkets will often be closed as well, particularly if the holiday is religious.

Booking notes
Bookings can be reserved by phone or email, confirmed once the deposit of 10% is received. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. An additional security deposit of £100 is required together with the balance. Cancellation up to 12 weeks prior to arrival will incur loss of 50% of the deposit. Between 12 weeks and 6 weeks prior, 25% of the full payment due. Cancellation within 6 weeks of the holiday will incur a cost of 50% of the full payment due.
