Accessibility
There are lifts to the apartment and there are ramps up with one step.
Outside
The outside is laid out with garden, car parking and the small swimming pool. There only 30 apartments in this small private complex.
Coast/Beach
There are 5 beaches in Alcossebre, the nearest is 3 minutes walk. All the beaches are clean and offer water sports, volleyball, childrens areas and all provide showering facilities. Daily diving at Columbretes Islands is available and fishing is allowed all day from many rocky coves. The fun marina at Las Fuentes with it's many bars and restaurants is only 6 mins away.
Golf
Two excellent 18 hole golf courses: Mediteraneo, near Castellon, is only 45 mins away and is home of Sergio Garcia. Panoramica, near Vinaros, is approx. 40 mins away, this course is designed by Bernhard Langer. Both courses are excellent value for money.
Skiing
A small ski resort situated some 2 hours away in the mountains, 5 runs with ski lifts.
Travel
By Air:
Barcelona Airport, 2 hours 15 mins drive to the south.
Valencia Airport, 1 hour 15 mins drive to the north.
Reus airport, is 1 hour 15 mins to the south, near Tarragona and Port Aventura theme park.
Distances
The beautiful city of Valencia is an hour away.
The historical Town of Peniscola with the old Town surrounded by the impressive castle which stands out as a magnificent monument and is the site of a great battle of El Cid, between the Moors and the Christians, is only 20 mins drive. Castellon, the county town of the area, with its shops, bars and restaurants (try the Galleon sitting along side the wonderful Marina) is only 30 mins away. Barcelona and all that it can offer is only 2 hours drive.
Further details
Alcossebre has a large range of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. It is predominantly spanish, in this orange bloossom county of Spain. This delightfully peaceful area is a must for those that want to get away and soak up the sun and atmosphere of spain. There is and english speaking Doctor in the village. Alcossebre has that small village feel with no high rise buildings. For outings for the children try Port Adventura Theme park (Spain's version of Disneyland) is approx an hours drive away. Other coastal towns are Benicassim and Oropesa with its beautiful beaches, botanical gardens and open air concerts.
