Located in the south-western area of Andalucia, our beautiful villa is set in a lovely, quiet residential area. The private pool and terraces have mountain, sea and golf views but the villa itself is within walking distance of Duquesa Marina and plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. You really have the best of both worlds. Stay in the villa and use the plentiful facilities such as BBQ, satellite TV, DVD and videos, pool table, table tennis, private pool or stroll down to all the facilities and beaches that Duquesa has to offer. Duquesa is really one of Spain's best kept secrets. It manages to combine traditional Spain with modern amenities. The beautiful marina is surrounded by blue flag beaches with plenty of chiringuitos, bars, restaurants and shops all nearby. Also within walking distance with distinctly Spanish feels are the historic Castillo and Sabinillas with its lovely promenade and pavement cafes. The very fashionable Marbella and Gibraltar are only a short drive away.

Changeover day
Entrance to villa not before 3pm and departure before 10am. Occasionally we can alter this but only by prior arrangement. Flexible changeover off-season.

Air-conditioning/heating is in all the bedrooms and the main lounge.

Outside
Outside dining area on terrace and patio with loungers surrounding private pool. A BBQ is provided for your use. Views of mountains, sea across to Estepona and golf course.
Coast/Beach
There are several blue flag beaches surrounding Duquesa with a good selection of Chiringuitos. There are often children's activities on the beach organised by the local council. The nearest beach is 10 minutes walk with pedaloes and a beach bar. The beaches stretch for miles either side of Duquesa port so there is plenty of space. Choose beaches for activities, peace and quiet, rock pools or near the restaurants where you can watch the kids whilst finishing off the local tipple in Sabinillas!
Golf
Our house overlooks the Robert Trent Jones course at Duquesa with reasonable rates. There are an abundance of other courses all within a 20 minute drive.
Travel
Nearest airport with regular flights is Malaga at 45/50 minutes away. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Gibraltar 25 minutes, Marbella/Puerto Banus 20 minutes, beautiful mountain villages within 10 minutes.
Further details
Everything you may need eg. supermarkets, banks, car hire, shops, restaurants is available in Duquesa or in Sabinillas (3 minute drive). There is a fantastic selection of restaurants ranging from Spanish tapas, good Italian, upmarket restaurants and Chinese/Indian. Water parks/safari park all within driving distance. Manilva is a typical Spanish village and is 5 minutes drive away.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required on booking and then we will be in touch approx. 8 weeks prior to your stay for the balance and key pick-up. We have a management company that can deal with any questions or problems you may have.

Thank you so much again for letting us use the villa. As hoped we had an amazing time! The best part was the villa which was an amazing retreat and very comfortable. It offered much needed R&R, a place to call home for a week, a pool to use whenever we liked and a BBQ which proved invaluable! The house by the way is amazing. The modifications since we last went (railings, furniture) only bettered the experience and further enhanced the character.
