Casa Cuevos Abichuelos (literally the house of bean caves!) is a peasant cottage situated in the most picturesque quarter of the 'white town' of Montefrio, Andalucia. It is located high up, close to the spectacular Iglesia de la Villa. Imagine yourself sitting on the roof terrace, sipping the local wine with an uninterrupted view over the surrounding town and landscape of Andalucia.

Accessibility
The cottage is high up in the town - hence the terrific views. This means a short but steep walk from the town square
(2 mins). There is limited parking outside the property.

Distances
The iconic Inglesia de la Villa sitting on top of the town can be visited by a steep walk from the house. The view from the tower is unbelievable!
Nearby is the Penos de la Gitanos (Gipsies Rock) An area of outstanding natural beauty with numerous prehistoric tombs which have been lovingly preserved by the current landowner.
Granada with its magnificent Alhambra is only 45 mins away.

Local shops are available within 5 mins walk for all daily needs.
There are many local tapas bars and restaurants serving delicious and extremely reasonable traditional Spanish food and drink.
At the olive oil factory run by a co-operative of local olive growers you can stock up on supplies to take home.
Montefrio also boasts a public outdoor lido.

A welcome pack including milk/butter/bread/coffee/tea can be provided for 10euros payable locally on arrival but must be prebooked.
