Beautiful villa situated in a quiet and elevated residential street overlooking La Marquesa Golf Course and the Crevillente Mountains. 40 minutes drive south of Alicante Airport via the salt lakes. 10 minutes drive from fabulous beaches of Guardamar. Car hire recommended though local water park, restaurants, bars, shops, medical centre and nightlife. Accommodation comprises open plan living/dining room and fully fitted kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom to main floor. Internal marble staircase to ground floor comprising a further double bedroom, two spacious single bedrooms and two large shower rooms. Private 8x4m pool complete with shower. BBQ and patio furniture. Terrace and rooftop solarium. Perfect for large family or two families sharing.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday. We generally insist on this for July and August. There is room for flexibility in other months. Occupancy normally from 2pm on arrival to 11am on departure.

Plenty of towels provided but please bring own beach towels. One change of bed linen provided in each wardrobe. Property cleaned between lets. Managed by local English couple living closeby. |
Notes on accommodation
This property is perfect for large family or two families sharing. There is a safety gate at the top of the internal marble staircase. Not suitable for disabled people as main living area is on the first floor.

Coast/Beach
Magnificent beach at Guardamar which is approx a 10 minute drive. Plenty of bars and restaurants along the mile long beach front.
Golf
La Marquesa is a full sized 18 hole golf course. The villa overlooks the course 5 - 10 min. walk to the Club House. You need proof of handicap to use the golf course although anyone can use the driving range and putting green.
Travel
The nearest major airport is Alicante, although there is another smaller airport, equidistant from the villa, at Murcia. Car hire is essential. Approx 40 min drive from Alicante airport to the villa.
Distances
Rojales is a small Spanish town adjacent to Quesada Estate. Quesada Village is 5 mins drive. Torrevieja is a large town with promenade 20 mins drive away. The salt lakes are a natural bird sanctuary with flamingos about 20 mins drive from the villa along the road north to Alicante.
Further details
There are supermarkets in Quesada Village, at the Golf and in Rojales. The nearest is the 'Supervalu' 1 km away at the Golf. Quesada Village has a variety of bars, restaurants, banks and shops - also a local clinic and information centre. Besides golf there is a variety of sporting activities available in the estate. A large communal swimming pool at The Quesada Country Club within walking distance of the villa, complete with bowling green, restaurant and poolside bar. There is also a water park popular with children on the Quesada estate. Tennis courts are available in the village. Spanish fiestas often provide opportunities for parades such as the Moors and Christians Parade or Flamenco dancing in the Quesada village plaza.
Booking notes
Booking directly through the owners. An immediate deposit of £100 per week secures the villa for dates required. The deposit is normally not refundable. The balance is due approximately 2 months prior to departure.
