Lose the rat race and escape with your beloved to somewhere really wonderful. Our 1 bedroom apartment is lovely! Cosy in winter and cool in summer. It is semi-detached with its own entrance and parking, and is situated in Tijola, the prettiest part of Orgiva, 3km from the lively market town. Rural charm and modern comfort co-exist in this high quality accommodation. This is a wonderful place to relax in. Just imagine, you are stressed to the limit at work, the next day you are sitting in dappled shade, drink in hand, listening to nothing but bird song, and the soft rustle of wind in the vines. Bliss! And we are on hand all the time to help you with anything that you need, 24/7. (No non-answering mobile phone numbers here!). Don’t just take our word for it, come and read the visitor's book!

Changeover day
Arrival days are flexible. Please arrive from 3.00pm onwards and vacate the apartment by 11.00am on the day of departure.
NOTE: These times can easily be changed by arrangement.

Built-in wardrobe, bedside tables, 2 chests of drawers and a dressing table.
Bathrooms: Stylish en-suite bathroom, with a brilliant shower, toilet, wash basin, extractor fan, and a wall mounted fan heater.
Kitchen: Beautiful properly equipped kitchen with granite worktop, inset hob, microwave, combi oven and grill, fridge, dishwasher, electric citrus juicer and electric kettle.
Cooks have commented on how nice it is to find good kitchen tools in a rented apartment.
Living Rooms: Comfortable and relaxing living area with sofa, dining table, chairs and CD/Radio/Cassette. There is no TV, you don't need a TV.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All towels and bed linen will be provided and changed weekly. We ask you to bring your own beach towels.
A laundry service is available at an extra charge.

 

Notes on accommodation
The Love Nest is perfect for couples. Through an archway from the sumptuous bedroom is the colorful living area, which is bathed in light from numerous windows. A deep comfy sofa, dining table, chairs and bookshelves make up the rest of the living area, which has French doors leading out onto the terrace. A cool wafting fan is available in summer and in winter a radiator with built in thermostat is provided. A gas fire and further radiator are available also, for the cooler months. A welcome pack of basic groceries and chilled champagne are included. We aim to please, so do ask us to help with any special arrangements such as birthday flowers etc that you may have.

Outside
The apartment has its own terraces and garden. There is one large paved terrace outside, partially shaded by an olive tree and festooned with plants in terracotta pots. Sunloungers, tables and a large umbrella are provided. Go up a few steps and a further vine covered patio is available, giving a secluded feel and bordered by planted banks of flowers. A BBQ area and the shady grassy garden beyond with orange and olive trees and views of farmland and mountains complete the apartment’s private grounds. Guests often comment on the range of 'lovely places to be'. A short amble takes you down to the pool. Now we have just finished our NEW POOL ( see www.thelovenest.net/PoolBlog.html) A fine 7 meter by 3.5 meter "kidney" pool beautifully tiled and drinking water pure as a result of the PROZONE system. No chlorine eye sting or green finger nails here ! There is still some work to do on the pool area, but the tile surround is now done and we are working hard to make it even nicer !

Coast/Beach
The beaches on the Costa Tropical are 40 minutes by car. There are many to choose from within an hour’s drive and none are as crowded and busy as those on the Costa del Sol nearer Malaga.

Travel
Granada airport is our nearest airport at one hours drive away. Malaga airport is 1hr 50 mins away. Car hire is available at both airports. Alternatively you can pre-book your car in the UK and pick it up on arrival. If you prefer not to drive whilst on your holiday then we can arrange a taxi to and from the airport at an extra cost. Please enquire at the time of booking.

Further details
There are a variety of things to do in the area such as walking, skiing, diving, horse-riding, paragliding, visiting traditional white mountain villages and the Alhambra palace in Granada (50 mins away). Some visitors find it difficult to leave the relaxing surroundings of the apartment and do anything at all! In this case we can arrange a soothing massage or reflexology session if you fancy pampering yourselves. Otherwise, forget everything, take another sip of wine, or gaze at the stars in the black night sky and just concentrate on being with your loved one in Andalucia!

Booking notes
To secure your booking a non-returnable deposit of £100 sterling is required. The balance is payable 4 weeks before your arrival. In the case of there being less than 1 month between booking and arrival then the full amount is payable at the time of booking. We have a UK Bank, and all payments are made using an easy bank transfer within the UK. You do not have to send money abroad.
