The villa is situated in an elevated position behind the village of Alcalali, in the heart of the Jalon Valley; approximately 5 minutes’ drive to the town of Jalon and 20 to 25 minutes’ drive to a choice of excellent beaches. The village of Alcalali is set in the middle of citrus and olive groves with a dramatic backdrop of mountains. There are several excellent restaurants within 5-10 minutes’ walk of the villa. The villa has an upper floor with dining room, lounge, family shower room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The lower floor has a further bedroom and shower room and is accessed from a separate entrance on the garden terrace. The property is particularly attractive for 2 families wishing to holiday together. The villa is available as a 2 bedroom or a 3 bedroom option which also offers the smaller family a detached property and gardens at an affordable price. The property is completely walled and gated (lockable) for your peace of mind.

Outside
The private swimming pool 8x4m with roman steps. Large gravelled garden terrace area. Covered terrace area next to the pool with outside dining table and seating for 6 persons. There are sun loungers for 6 persons, a further dining table and chairs for 6 on the pool terrace plus a very large swing-arm sun parasol.
Coast/Beach
There are wonderful beaches within 20 to 25 minutes’ drive. The resorts of Javea, Denia, Calpe and Moraira are the closest and offer clean and safe bathing as well as restaurants and shopping.
Travel
The villa is situated approx 55 minutes by car from Alicante Airport (to the south) and approx 75 minutes by car from Valencia Airport (to the north). Alicante Airport has many low-cost flights from the UK and we would also highly recommend Valencia Airport with an increasing number of airlines using its facilities.
Distances
The town of Jalon is 3km away with larger shops, bars and cafes, many excellent restaurants, bodegas, Saturday morning flea market. Inland from Alcalali, there are wonderful walks (or drives) through the mountains and groves.
Further details
The Jalon Valley has many lovely country restaurants offering a superb selection of food at good prices. Alcalali is particularly a "foodie" village with half a dozen popular restaurants, all of which offer al fresco dining.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. We also request a refundable damages deposit of £150 which is refunded to you within 10 working days of your departure, once the villa has been cleaned/changed over.
