One of three tasteful apartments in a restored 18th century listed townhouse/carmen. Located as close as possible to the city centre whilst still being in the Albayzin, the charming old Moorish quarter of Granada, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Within 5 minutes walk of Plaza Nueva where shuttle buses depart every few minutes up to the Alhambra. The central location means you are also a short walk from numerous bars and restaurants. The apartment has spectacular views south of the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada mountains, and a private torreon terrace where you can enjoy the sun and take in these views. The renovation has fused 18th century charm with 21st century comfort and style providing you with aircon/heating, WiFi internet accesss, powerful walk-in shower etc. There is even an Arabic bath in the master bedroom to soak in after a hard day sight-seeing or skiing, something few apartments in Granada offer. Parking arranged 33 euros per week.

Notes on prices
Extra cost for more than 4 people (5-6 people): 15 euros per night for each extra person. 75 euros per week for each extra person. Children sleeping in cot no cost. Prices include IVA (VAT) and there are no additional cleaning fees.
Changeover day
Guests can arrive any day and at any time that suits them as the manager lives in the same building.
Check out by 11am, apartment cleaned and prepared for occupation by 2pm.
On check out day luggage can be left with the manager.

Accessibility
Please be aware that the Albayzin is a maze of narrow cobbled streets and steps built on the side of a hill. The apartment is in the lowest part of the Albayzin closest to the true centre of town which is Plaza Nueva. But it is still a five minute walk uphill from the centre which some people may find difficult.
Outside
The apartment has private access to the torreon, a traditional roofed terrace which is found at the top of most carmens in the Albayzin. The sun streams in through the open windows during the mornings and evenings and almost all day during winter. Whilst the roof keeps you shaded from heat of the midday sun in summer.
Coast/Beach

- tasting wine and cured ham and visiting the cave dwellings of Guadix
- the insiders tapas bar tour
- walks through the woods surrounding the Alhambra, once the hunting estates of the Moorish sultans with wonderful views over the city and to the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

Travel
Granada airport 20 mins drive, 27 euros in a taxi, or 30 euros if you are picked up by our driver. Serviced by Ryanair flights from Liverpool, Stansted and East Midlands. Malaga airport 1 hr 15 mins drive. Unusually for the Albayzin the apartment is accessible by car, enabling you to be dropped off at the front door by taxi or our driver. If you have a car the owners can recommend a nearby car park which costs 33 euros per week.
Further details
The centrality of the apartment means it is less than 5 minutes walk from numerous tapas bars and restaurants, the best of which the owners recommend in an up-to-date restaurant guide which is provided for the guests.
Granada´s main food market is also closeby where clients will be able to find fresh local produce.
