Changeover day
Changeover day - Saturday but we can usually accommodate other days if necessary.

Notes on accommodation
Casita Jasmin is laid out over a number of different levels / storeys and is therefore unsuitable for very young children.
Rooms have oil-filled radiators.

There is a small courtyard in the centre of the property with flowers and jasmine, and a roof terrace with loungers.
Guests have access to a shared pool within 5 minutes walk.
Coast/Beach
Beaches at San Pedro, Marbella and Puerto Banus are less than an hour's drive away.
Golf
Several golf courses within an hour's drive.
Travel
The airports of Malaga, Seville, Jerez and Gibraltar are all around an hour and a half away. The nearby village of Benoajan has a railway station from where you can reach Granada one way and Gibraltar, Algeciras the other.
Distances
Montejaque has several restaurants and tapas bars and is ideally placed for visiting the local jewel - the town of Ronda with its bullring, gorge and excellent restuarants. A full list of excursions, restaurants, walks etc is provided at Casita Jasmine.
Further details
The area is ideal for ornithologists (vultures, eagles and buzzards can be seen regularly form the roof terrace). Montejaque is also an ideal base for Hiking, mountain biking (bike hire available) and pot-holing to name but a few possible activities - all from the doorstep!. For those just wanting to unwind there is a good library of DVDs and CDs in the lounge.

About the owner
My husband and I are both from Wales but are currently living and working in London. We started spending holidays in Spain when I fell in love with Ronda. We love the place, the lifestyle and the quiet.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We had stayed at Montajeque and loved the village, so when a property came up which was what we were looking for we bought it. Being two very busy people we needed somewhere to relax. The Spring is particularly beautiful when all the spring flowers come out the hillsides are spectacular.
It is perfect, sitting on the roof terrace we can just hear the birds it is so relaxing. It is perfect for so many historical cities which we have visited and we have even visited Gibraltar (about 2 hours drive).
Unique benefits of the property
At the property we have the benefit of a roof terrace which has a beautiful view of Montajaque, we are on a hill at the top of the old part of the village.
It is a typical village house. It has the use of a swimming pool (about 2 minutes walk away). We have a range of CD's and books which we have left over the years which can be viewed. We provide all the linen you will need. You can self cater but there are also places in the village to eat. We can recommend Pedro's a pub in the village.
