Our Cortijo is centrally located between Cordoba, Sevilla, Malaga, Granada, Sierra Navada mountains and Antequera. 5 minutes drive from the small town of Rute (approx 647 metres above sea level) and 20 minutes from Iznajar. The property is situated in an unspoiled rural location overlooking the beautiful Lake Iznajar and surrounded by mountains which are carpeted by olive groves. We have two spacious self contained apartment, each accommodating 2 to 4 persons, which are extensively furnished and fitted to provide for your every need. A complimentary essentials welcome pack is provided including a bottle of Champagne, wine, bread, butter, sugar, tea, coffee. We have a private 12m x 6m swimming pool with large sun terrace and loungers for your use. We have BBQ areas with table and chairs. Also, a fitness room complete with gymnasium.

Spacious lounge/dining area, with satellite TV, DVD Player and music centre, sofa and sofabed, coffee table, dining room table and 4 chairs and remote controlled air conditioning and heating. The bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets and lamps, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, vanity table and mirror and remote controlled air conditioning and heating. Each apartment has it's own safe. Bathroom, fully tiled, with shower, wc, washbasin, marble surfaces, mirror, radiator and abundant storage. Fully fitted open plan kitchen with marble work surfaces, oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker and a good range of cooking utensils. A hair dryer, iron and ironing board is also provided. |

Notes on accommodation
The first floor apartment has a tiled balcony with table and four chairs overlooking the Lake.
Outside
We have lovely gardens overlooking the Lake and mountains, patio areas for BBQ's and a private 12m x 6m swimming pool, with a large sun terrace so you can relax on the sun loungers. Also we have outside showers, changing rooms and outside wc.
Coast/Beach
The Lake beach at Iznajar is about 15 minutes drive away with a beach bar/restaurant, you can swim, sail, canoe or windsurf. During the summer months, pedaloes are also for hire, plus barbecue facilities and fishing.
Golf
The nearest 18 hole golf course is in Antequera and is 30 minutes away from us.
Travel
Granada airport is approx 55 minutes drive and Malaga is approx 1 hour's drive. We recommend a hire car from the airport for the duration of your stay. Convenient car parking is provided for both apartments.
Distances
Rute, only 5 minutes drive, has a variety of museums, points of interest, parks and a weekly market. Visit Iznajar with it's winding narrow streets, moorish castle and church. We are centrally located between Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada, Sierra Nevada Mountains and Antequera. The beaches of Costa del sol are only just over an hour away.

Rute has a full range of banks, shops, supermarkets, health centre, tapas bars, cafes and restaurants.

Booking confirmation of 25% non returnable deposit of your accommodation fee. The balance of the accommodation fee to be paid 4 weeks prior to your intended arrival date.
