Casa Serendipity is a five year old property with superb facilities. All rooms have air-conditioning and heating, English Sky TV is available and there are four dining areas including a Barbeque. Tea, coffee and bar facilities are always available for those wishing to spend a more restful time. The 6 x 10m pool has extensive patios and sun loungers etc and guests are welcome to enjoy 24/7 use of all facilities. Walking, cycling, golf and scuba diving locally. There are many local places of interest to visit but a car is essential.

Beds can be double, twin or single as needed.
All bedrooms are en-suites with bath/shower rooms, WC and vanity units and have air-conditioning with heating.
One bedroom has a separate but still private bathroom.
All towels and bed linen are provided.
Drinks are available throughout the day and lunch or evening meals by arrangement.

 

Notes on accommodation
The owners have pets and visitor's pets are welcome. The location is quite remote and although within easy reach of beaches, supermarkets and restaurants for car drivers, these are not walkable. There is a no smoking policy, however there are extensive covered seating areas surrounding the house for those wishing to indulge.

Accessibility
Facilities are available for disabled visitors with drive in shower and full supporting assistance.

Outside
The site is of some 3 acres mainly to almond tree orchards and is a superb location with 360 degree panoramic views of the mountains. The swimming pool (10x6m) is private to visitors and has sun loungers, various floating/play furniture. Pool heating has now being introduced however this is not normally necessary between May and September. There is a B.B.Q available for visitors use with food and fuel supplied as needed. There are outside dining areas in order to get the benefit of the sun all day.

Coast/Beach
The villa is within 30 mins drive of five beach resorts, Calpe, Moraira, Javea, Denia and Oliva. All of them have magnificent beach facilities, old town sections and modern shopping facilities. Local towns (10 mins drive) have daily markets, many restaurants of all nationalities and night clubs for the young at heart.

Golf
Local golf courses are 20 mins and 30 mins away. They are quasi-championship courses and have buggies available for all visitors. Prices are circa. 40 - 60 euros plus buggy.

Special interest holidays
Facilities are nearby for outdoor adventure activities including, mountain walking, canoeing, rock climbimg, whitewater rafting, caving, canyoning, paintball, cycling, quadbiking, etc., etc.
We also specialise in giving advice to potential purchasers of both new build and existing house purchase and have saved clients from endless troubles with their move to Spain. This advice is given freely and many of our visitors have become members of the "Serendipity Club" of happy expats. The club holds members dinners from time to time when great evenings are had by all.

Travel
We are situated midway between Valencia and Alicante airports, each being an hour distant. We can collect you at either airport or provide you with a hire car collectible in the airport building. Directions to the villa are available on booking. It is essential to have a car.

Distances
Benichembla village with its three restaurants and shops is 4 mins drive, we are 10 mins drive from the towns of Orba (bustling English community), Jalon (famous tourist town for wine and markets), Alkalali (6 restaurants) and Parcent (6 restaurants). Local supermarkets selling English foods are within 10 minutes.

Further details
Banking and Cash Points are available in Parcent, Alkalili, Jalon or Orba locally. Local supermarkets are available but the resort towns have many more and varied English style supermarkets. There are many organised and accompanied walks through the mountains available to visitors of both long and short durations.

About the owner
We are a family run Guesthouse and have many returning guests, we do run a Serendipity Club for those visitors who eventually buy or build homes here, which is very successful in its various activities throughout the year. Lilan and Keith retired from financial Businesses in the UK in order to take up the Hotel opportunity and we like to think we look after you as well as any other establishment in the world.

Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
We bought the property because of its singularity, it provides us with the quiet life we enjoy and allows us to roam through the Almond, Cherry and Orange Orchards whenever we want to chill out.
