880sqft luxury apartment in renovated 18th c. Merchants House on pedestrian lane off Plaza San Juan de Dios the oldest square in Cadiz (picture shown). The area is filled with restaurants, tapas and wine bars. It is 3 minutes walk to Cadiz Cathedral, 4 mins to Roman Theatre, 4 mins to Flower Square (the flower market), 4 mins to the Food Market, 6 mins to Calle Ancha the start of the boutique shopping area. The sea and promenade are 3 mins walk and the nearest white sand beach is 8 mins walk. The medieval Barrio Populo is 2 mins and Barrio La Viña and its many fish restaurants including the famous El Faro Restaurant is only 10 mins on foot. There is on street and underground 24hr parking (9.20 euros for 24 hours) 1 minute from the apartment along with a taxi rank. The port of Cadiz and Ferry terminal for the Canary Islands is 2 minutes walk. Cities of Jerez and Seville are easily accessible in 20 mins and 1 hour respectively. Bus and train stations 3 mins easy walk from apartment.

Special long term rental prices available on request. Prices are for the property per week in euros. Bookings of under 7 days are calculated on a daily rate (weekly rate divided by 7 multiplied by the number of days). Minimum rental is 3 days. A supplement of 30 pounds will be charged for bookings of under 7 nights. Long term rental prices available on request.
Changeover day
Arrivals between 1 - 6pm or by prior arrangement. Departures by 10am. No fixed changeover day.

Sea 3 mins walk. Famous white sand beaches of Cadiz 8 mins walk (winter & summer sun). Beaches of Rota, Chipiona, Puerto de Santa Maria and Sanlucar de Barrameda 30/40 mins by car. Windsurfing at Europes Wind Surf Capital - Tarifa 1 hour by car. Surf and water sports school at Sancti Petri 35 mins. The famous La Barossa Beach of Chiclana 20 mins by car.
Golf
Montecastillo Golf and Country Park (Home of the Volvo Masters course)25 minutes. Sanlucar Golf Course and Sherry Golf (Jerez) 30 and 20 minutes respectively. Sancti Petri course 35 minutes. San Andreas Golf - 35 minutes. Montenmedio Golf and Country Park - 45 minutes.
Skiing
Skiing in the Sierra Nevadas at Granada 2hrs 30 mins. Access by car or train.

Jerez airport 25 minutes. Seville l hour. Gibraltar 1 hour 15 mins Malaga 2 hours 30 mins. Faro (Portugal) airport, 3 hours.

Further details
Enjoy the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez (30 mins by car) or visit the track and watch a practice day for only 3 euros per person. Trips to Morocco by Ferry. Ferry terminal 1 hour. Go horse riding on the beach or take lessons. The famous Royal Jerez Horse Academy 30 mins by car (visits and exhibitions). Easy access to the Sherry bodegas of Jerez (tours available). Visit the Flamenco and fino clubs in Cadiz and Jerez. Enjoy the wonderful tapas bars and fish restaurants of Cadiz and Puerto de Santa Maria. Go bird watching in The Grazelema mountains (40 mins by car).Fabulous shopping 4 minutes walk from the apartment. Cadiz is reckoned by many, including Spaniards, to host the best and liveliest fiestas, notably the annual Carnival in (February) and Semana Santa (Easter week), but there are many more throughout the year.
Booking notes
Bookings by phone or email. Deposit of 20% of total let fee with booking by bank transfer or cheque. Balance to be paid 1 month prior to arrival date by bank transfer. If you wish to pay the final payment by cheque, your cheque must be sent 8 weeks prior to date of entry as they take 6 weeks to clear.

We have visited Cadiz before but always been disappointed by the standard of the rental properties on offer Not this time your apartment is fabulous, spacious, immaculate, well equipped & modern my wife is in her element. We will certainly be coming back. Absolutely loved the apartment it is so central and right in the midst of everyday Spanish life. Will definitely be booking again. Still have not exhausted the array of things to do and see in Cadiz not to mention the never ending list of restaurants and this is our second visit. As usual you have made us very welcome and thank you for the advice on places to go and see. We thought about Argentina for next year but I think we will just come back here again.
Have eaten the best food ever this week and so cheap. Cant believe the quality of the fish restaurants here. Thank you for your recommendations. Will be back with friends to try them all again! Have never been anywhere in the world where the beach is in the city!
