Notes on prices
Prices shown are for up to 6 people, per week in UK pounds. We can accommodate 8 people at an extra cost; please ask. Prices include central heating and logs for the wood-burner for winter lets. Towels, beach towels and bedlinen are also included, and are changed weekly.
Changeover day
Flexible changeover days. Arrival time 5pm. We request that you leave by 10am on the day of departure to allow for cleaning, unless otherwise agreed with us.

Towels, beach towels and bed linen included, and changed weekly. The pool will be cleaned at least once a week during your stay. |

Outside
Fenced-in front garden with olive and fruit trees, patio, private pool 3.5 x 10m with patio and sun loungers. Young olive trees to rear. Bordering the Sierra Nevada natural park at the acequia (irrigation channel) behind the house. Roof terrace with panoramic views and table and chairs. Lots of walks, birds and nature. The GR7 long-distance footpath goes past the house below the front garden (out of view). Private parking beside the house.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Motril is a 30 minute drive away. Salobrena, Almunecar and La Herradura are 40 + minutes. There are many smaller beaches between these larger ones.
Golf
Golf courses at Granada and Motril.
Skiing
Skiiing in the Sierra Nevada is about 45 minutes away. There is usually snow from December to April.
Travel
Granada airport 30 minutes drive. Malaga airport 1 hour 45 minutes. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Granada 25 mins drive. Alhambra 25 mins. Costa Tropical 30 mins. Sierra Nevada ski resort 45 mins
Alpujarras 20 mins.
Further details
Cortijo Tornavieja is in a very peaceful setting, and a 10-minute walk from the centre of the village of Niguelas, where there are several bars and supermarkets, 2 bakeries, a fish shop, a bank and a couple of restaurants. The next town, Durcal, is a 5 minute drive and has many shops etc.
Booking notes
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, the rest being due 3 weeks before the holiday.
