Our 1st floor apartment is situated in a pleasant area within walking distance of the coast and town (or bus stop nearby). Set in a secure private complex that has a beautiful large swimming pool in gardens. Private parking area. Apartment has lounge/diner leading to balcony which overlooks pool (see photo), separate kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bed settee, access to apartment via own private gate and staircase.

Preferably weekends, but other days can be arranged.

All bedding and bath towels provided. Tea towels also provided. Please bring your own towels for pool and beach. Cleaning is on departure. |

Coast/Beach
It is 15/20 minutes walk to the coast. The beaches are within 5 mins drive and, in high season, they have childrens play facilities there and also lifeguards and Red Cross stations.
Golf
Golf courses are within easy driving distance.
Travel
Torrevieja is approximately 40 minutes drive from both Alicante and Murcia airports. Pickups can be arranged. Car hire is available at the airport or several nearby.
Distances
30 minutes walk to town (or catch bus nearby). New complex of bars and restaurants just 2 mins walk. Shopping complex, aqua park (open high season) and sports complex are just 10 -15 minutes walk.
Further details
Torrevieja is a coastal town and is situated between 2 lakes; one being a working salt lake, the other a nature reserve with flamingos, etc. There are 3 beaches, a promenade and a large harbour. The town centre has many shops, banks, bars, restaurants. This area has been voted by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places in the world to live. The air is clean and pure, ideal for those with asthma or chest complaints. Also within driving distance: Benidorm, Elche, Alicante, Murcia and other coastal resorts.

About the owner
I moved over to Spain 9 yrs ago, having taken early retirement from the banking industry. Fancied enjoying myself a bit more in a warmer climate with a cheaper cost of living!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I bought the apartment from the same building company who built my house as I was impressed with the standard of build and also impressed that the apartment would have the same size and design of our lovely large swimming pool.
Also the fact that it is conveniently only a few minutes walk away from my home and is in a mainly residential area and therefore has all the local amenities - shops, petrol station, bars, restaurants etc and is near a bus route into town. Close enough to everything required for a holiday but not in the midst of any rowdiness!
Unique benefits of the property
I believe it has a more personal touch as it is in a nearby location to myself, the owner and I furnished it personally. It therefore doesn't include any contact with key holders, agents etc which I think makes it more convenient and friendly.
