Recently renovated self-catering apartment in sought after complex, designed to resemble a Catalan village, with interior walkways lined with plants and flowers, and a choice of swimming pools surrounded by lawns and gardens. Very close to the beach and all amenities, shopping centre, bars and restaurants. If you want to park the car for a week and forget it, you can walk everywhere: to the beach, the shops, the restaurants and bars, even to the disco. Underground parking available (extra cost).

Changeover day
Changeover days are Saturdays in high season, and negotiable at other times.

Coast/Beach
200 yards from the main long fine sandy beach, with many activities and facilities for water sports. A few mins drive away from more secluded beaches, and 10-15 miles from a variety of small, beautiful and sometimes quite isolated bays and rocky coves.
Golf
18-hole Pitch and Putt in the local village, 5 miles. Full 36 hole Golf Courses at Perelada (15 miles) and Torremirona (18 miles).
Travel
Girona-Barcelona Airport, about 45 mins drive, with car hire, transfer bus (12 euros per person) or taxi service (75 euros). Barcelona Airport, about 2 hours drive, or Perpignan airport (France), about 1 hours drive. It is not essential to have a car in Empuriabrava, as all the amenities are within easy walking distance.
Distances
Within a few mins drive (in any direction) you can find small typical Catalan villages, natural game reserves, Greek and Roman ruins, or local fishing ports. Figueres is the nearest main town, about 15 mins drive, or Girona about 40 mins away. Plenty of cultural visits for all tastes, just ask us upon arrival and we will give you all the information you need. Our apartment is just round the corner from the Tourist office, who can also give you all kinds of local information and maps.
Further details
Empuriabrava is a small, purpose built, very attractive seaside resort, built around a network of leisure canals with villas and apartments built on their banks. There is a wide variety of all kinds of bars and restaurants, specialising in foods from all European countries, all the national banks, 4 or 5 large supermarkets, clothes boutiques and small local shops. Several dentists, medical centre, private doctors, hairdressers and beauty salons.
Booking notes
After confirmed reservation by email, 50% deposit is required by bank transfer, with the remainder being payable upon arrival.
Guest comments
Mr. and Mrs. Via, from France, who were here in February 2007 said they loved the apartment and enjoyed their stay, and they would like to reserve the apartment again for their holidays in May.
Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas stayed for 2 weeks in December, on holiday from the nearby military barracks, and enjoyed it so much that they prolonged their stay by a week. They say they will tell their other military friends about our apartment.
Alix Brotherston and her boyfriend are skydivers who rented the apartment in September 2006 were very pleased with the situation and cleanliness, and have recommended us to various other skydiving friends.
Pedro Garcia from Spain reserved a week in August, 2007, and said he was pleasantly surprised by the apartment, which was even better than the photos.
Lucy Eaton came with her boyfriend in September 2007, and thoroughly enjoyed a week visiting the many interesting villages and ancient ruins in the area.
