Casa Azul is ideally placed for both beach and golf. Nuevo Portil and its neighbouring resorts of El Portil and El Rompidio have a good selection of shops and some of the best seafood restaurants in Andalucia. 'Fantastic house, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, large and airy, plenty of space in a peaceful environment. A real treat to have a dishwasher on holiday! Bedrooms: 1st floor master bedroom with a double bed, its own en-suite and a large terrace with two wooden loungers, view of pool and gardens.
The twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes.
2nd floor is a large attic twin bedroom with private terrace.
Hairdryers incl.
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to master bedroom (bath, shower over, bidet, wc and wash basin), shower room also on first floor(shower, wash basin and wc) and extra wc with washbasin on ground floor.
Kitchen: The fully fitted kitchen with granite surfaces has a large
fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven with hob and grill, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and a good selection of utensils. 8 sets of cutlery and crockery.
Utility Room: A small utility off the kitchen has washing line and pegs. Iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: Lounge dining room has a large extending table and chairs. Two seagrass armchairs, double sprung sofa bed and TV with satellite to receive UK channels, DVD, a selection of DVDs, CDs, books and games.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
On stays of over 10 days there is a mid stay clean/linen change. On the long stay rental cleaning is not included but can be arranged at an extra cost. Please note we do not supply beach/pool towels.

Outside
Casa Azul has a large south facing paved gated rear patio overlooking the communal gardens, pool area and fairway 4 with a dining table for 6 comfortable chairs and a large parasol making it ideal for children and outside dining. The master bedroom private terrace also south facing has two wooden sun loungers with drinks table and views over pool. The partially shaded attic terrace with bistro table and two chairs is an ideal escape with a book and a glass of the local wine. The swimming pool is usually open 1st June to end of September. To comply with Spanish safety laws, a lifeguard is present when open. The paddle tennis court is open all year and is situated on the adjoining complex. Casa Azul has 2 underground parking places. On long stays a lockable store is available; ideal for storing golf clubs and trolleys. Access to Casa Azul is direct from the street and parking is available outside the door.

Coast/Beach
The unspoilt sandy beach of Nuevo Portil is 10 mins walk from Casa Azul as it is protected from the Atlantic by the Flecha de Rompido, making it safe for children. We have two boys 3 and 10 years old and they spend hours on the soft sandy beach and in the water. Showers are available on the beach.

Golf
The townhouses are situated on the Nuevo Portil golf course (par 71, 5841m), it has a full range of facilities. El Rompidio golf courses (two x par 72, 6148m and 6421m) is a 5 min drive and the Islantilla 27 hole championship golf course is only 15 mins drive. The Eastern Algarve is only 25 mins on the motorway from Casa Azul. Golf in both these areas is better value than the neighbouring Western Algrave and the Costa del Sol and not as busy, making it easier to secure teeing off times.

Travel
Both Faro and Seville airport are within an hours drive of Casa Azul. Car hire is recommended to get the most from your holiday.

Distances
Nuevo Portil is only 18kms from the regional capital of Huelva on very good roads. It has a large selection of shops, restaurants and bars and the most popular tourist attraction is Muelle de las Carabelas, replicas of the ships used by Columbus to discover the Americas. Casa Azul are ideally placed for visiting Seville, the Coto Donana National park, Sierra de Aracena and Jerez, plus many more.

We have been visiting since 2003 and still have a lot to discover! The area is very Spanish and ideal for those wishing to experience the real Spain, it is very popular with the Spanish,from Huelva, Seville and Madrid many have holiday homes in the area.

Booking notes
A deposit of £150 per week is required with a completed booking form unless booking within 10 weeks when the full amount is due.
We also take a security deposit of £200 which is returned after post departure check by our local agent.
