The brand new 2 bed, 2 bathroom property is situated on one of the best golf courses in Spain - The Valle del Este. Almeria has officially more hours of sunshine than any other region in Europe, so if you want sun - this is the place to go! Enjoying a second floor position with fantastic views over the valley and the sea in the distance. The 4* Hotel and Spa is 5 mins easy walk away and the 8th tee is only 50yds from the apartment. If you don't like golf - the apartment is still a great base to explore the area - which offers Quad Biking, Scuba Diving , Horseriding and the Wild Wild West! Sergio Leone filmed many spaghetti westerns here. Seafood restaurants cooking the days catch are in abundance in nearby Garrucha and the popular town of Mojacar where Walt Disney is reported to have been born is only 10 mins away. At the end of the day enjoy a cold drink and bar-b-que on your private solarium looking out over the Andalucian mountains.

Changeover day
We are happy to be very flexible. Usually we will ask for departure by 10am and check in around 2pm. But depending upon whether or not you are following someone else in - this is flexible.

Large balcony for dining, shared pool of good size approx 15m x 10m.

Coast/Beach
The beach is 5 minutes by car where you have access to the Valle Del Este Beach Club. A great place for swimming (freshwater pool), and eating (lovely restaurant) serving delightful meals for all tastes.

Golf
The Valle Del Este is one of the best golf courses in Spain. Golf3D said "It's a golfers paradise in all aspects". With it's own desalination plant to service the huge amounts of water surrounding the holes (1/3rd is water) this course is exceptional and draws people from afar to play it. With plenty of buggies, driving range, pro shop, putting green, pro-lessons and bunker practice this is truly all encompasing. A huge golf lounge in the hotel with bar snacks and restaurant food with a large terrace area to enjoy al fresco dining. it's an 18 hole par 72 with each hole having up to 6 tees!

Skiing
High in the Sierra Nevada, less than 35 km from Granada and only just over two hours drive from the apartment, lies the winter sport's resort of Solynieve. This is Europe's most southerly ski venue and site of the 1996 World Ski Championships.The season usually starts in November/December and lasts until April or May, depending on the snow. Visitors may be surprised by the benign weather throughout most of the season and the relatively high air temperatures when compared to the more northern European resorts.
Lifts and cable cars connect the resort, at 2,100 m, to the second highest peak in Spain, Veleta, standing at 3,398 m.
Activities, both on and off the slopes, are plentiful. Skating and cross-country skiing can be practised during the day and when the night falls, the aprés-ski celebrations keep visitors on their feet until late. Weekends and bank holidays are especially busy.

Travel
The airport is 40 mins drive along the main motorway. very easy and not like the M25. We saw only a few dozen cars when we drove it recently and that was at 10am!

Further details
Local supermarkets provide excellent range of food including stunning Parma Ham. The nearest is only 10 mins by car. Banks are also only 10 minutes.
Maps are provided - so you will be able to find everything easily.
