A typically Spanish villa with 3 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The ideal holiday home for family life with a table in the kitchen to seat 8 and a huge lounge. The pool has a slide and a springboard for the more active! Plenty of areas both in and out to escape the midday sun and relax in the shade. The house is a 10 minute walk from the town centre with itīs bars and restaurants. Less than 20 minutes by car and you can be on the beaches of Torremolinos and Benalmadena, or in the mountainous countryside surrounding the town. Half an hour from Fuengirola and a little more to Marbella and Puerto Banus. Lauro Golf course is 5 minutes away, half a dozen more golf courses are within 20 minutes drive from here. Only 15 minutes from Malaga airport and the historic city of Malaga. This villa is the perfect base for those wanting to get out and about, or those wanting to escape from it all without being too cut off.

Changeover day
We try to be as flexible as possible regarding changeover days so that our guests can take advantage of the cheap flights available to Malaga.

| Living Rooms: | A large room with open fireplace and 2 windows overlooking orange trees in the front garden. 2 huge sofas, big enough to sleep on, and 2 traditional wing back chairs makes this an easy room to relax in. TV with Sky and DVD. Games and books. |
| Other: | There is a covered terrace outside the kitchen with a sofa and armchair surrounded by plants, the ideal place to escape the midday sun. The wetroom is off this terrace so that guests using the pool do not have to enter the house to use the bathroom. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
The villa is cleaned thoroughly before arrival of guests. Clean bath towels and bedlinen are provided. Please bring your own pool/beach towels. Additional cleaning and linen provision can be arranged on request. |
Notes on accommodation
The Sky satellite TV only provides a basic package. You may wish to bring your own Sky card, if you have one, in order to watch other channels. There is air conditioning in the kitchen and all bedrooms have electric fans. This is a traditionally built house and, therefore, if the sun is kept out, the villa stays relatively cool.
Please note that the couple who look after this villa live with their two friendly dogs in a small house in a separate area of the garden. They have their own access to their home and their own garden and will not invade your privacy whatsoever, but will be on hand to help with local knowledge and any queries you may have.
A few of our guests have mentioned to us recently that they almost didnīt book our villa because they were concerned that they hadnīt seen a photo of the front of the villa. Once they saw the villa they understood why - the front garden has large orange trees in it and they obscure the view of the house from the front almost completely

Accessibility
There are steps in various locations around the villa and itīs gardens and therefore we do not feel that it is suitable for people with severe mobility problems.
Outside
The front of the house has lawned gardens with mature orange, apricot and pear trees. The back of the villa has a cool, covered terrace area decorated with Spanish tiles and green plants with a sofa and armchair, a large open terrace and shady barbeque area with table and chairs. The 5m by 7m swimming pool is totally secure, with fences all around making it safe for families with children. The pool has a slide and springboard and is quite deep, even in the shallow end. The pool is surrounded by a paved terrace, wooden decking areas and lawned gardens with fruit trees for shade. There are sunloungers around the pool and a hammock under a tree. However many people you have in your party, there will always be somewhere to escape to.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is the undeveloped, unspoilt Los Alamos with a few chiringuitos (beach bars) just 20 minutes away by car. Two minutes further and you are in the heart of Torremolinos with all itīs entertainment. 5 minutes more and you are in Benalmadena with itīs beautiful beach and marina, ideal for a lovely evening out. Fuengirola is half an hour away. The beaches the other side of Malaga are far less developed and are gorgeous.
Golf
Lauro Golf course is a five minute drive away. Alhaurin Golf, Mijas Golf and La Cala all within twenty minutes. There are dozens of golf courses along this coast, all easily accessible from this villa.
Skiing
The famous ski resort of Sierra Nevada is just one and a half hours drive away. Yes, you can ski or snowboard in the morning and sit in the sun by the pool in the afternoon.
Special interest holidays
We have a small scuba dive business, taking qualified divers out for day trips along this coast. They will be happy to provide you with more information if necessary.
Travel
Malaga airport is just 15 minutes away by car. The nearest train station is at the Plaza Mayor, a shopping and entertainment complex 15 minutes away. Buses run regularly from Alhaurin de la Torre into Malaga city. Car hire is recommended to make the most of this beautiful area.

Further details
There is something for everybody here. Alhaurin de la Torre has all the bars, restaurants and amenities you would expect of a modern, affluent town, including a new indoor swimming pool and gym. The centre of the town is an traditional, old Spanish village with a market every week. There are too many places of interest in this area to mention individually and therefore a box of information and leaflets has been left in the villa for the guests perusal.

A Ģ200 deposit per holiday booking is required against damage.
