Where the river divides is the 700 year old town of Ayamonte, a beautiful traditional Spanish town offering everything you would expect, from boutiques to supermarkets and restaurants offering typical Andalusia cuisine. Airports; Faro 45 minutes, Seville 75 minutes. 7 Km of beautiful beach is just 5 minutes away from the apartment. Ayamonte is just 3 minutes away from the apartment.

Coast/Beach
Just minutes away are 7 kms of beautiful unspoilt beaches with beach facilities and water sports. The new marina has it's own ambience with restaurants, bars and shops and is 5 minutes away.
Golf
The apartment is part of the Isla Canela Golf course, a beautiful natural landscape, navigable canals adjoining some fairways with olive, orange and palm trees surrounding this modern 18 hole, Par 72 course.
The attractive well appointed Club House provides a welcome retreat with restaurant, bar and large terrace where you can relax and enjoy a post round drink or evening meal. The club has two bowling greens, its own swimming pool and the Golf Shop, located onsite, provides the normal range of golfing accessories and is where tee times are reserved; golf carts and clubs are also available for hire; putting green and driving range; lessons available at competitive rates.
NB: Guests at PradoGolf receive substantial benefits on green fees etc.

Travel
Car is recommended. Airports; Faro 45 minutes and Seville 75 minutes.
Distances
Punta del Moral is a small fishing village down by the marina at the eastern end of the island; here you can enjoy freshly caught fish in numerous restaurants at very affordable prices.
Further details
You are 5 minutes drive from the coast where you can enjoy uncrowded beautiful long white sandy beaches. In the evening enjoy the delights of the local food and wine in the laid back atmosphere of the bars, and restaurants, or wander around the shops and marina, where you can also hire bicycles and boats.
Ayamonte is a very traditional picturesque Spanish town, situated at the mouth of the Rio Guadiana where there are many shops, restaurants and squares for you to relax and enjoy. It also has a local Bull fighting arena where they hold bullfights, which is still very much a part of the Andalucian culture. In the town there are many shops selling a variety of goods, also modern supermarkets, or if you prefer there is a daily market for fresh fruit and vegetables and a weekly market on Saturday.
There is also a 10 minute ferry across to Portugal.
Huelva is the next closest city, there you will find a museum with many remarkable archaeological Roman finds, and its other claim to fame is that it was the starting point of Columbus’s famous epic voyage.
